Rapid progress is being made with regards to the Sleipnir, Allah be praised. We've managed to sort out the front and the rear of the cabin, and both sides of the floor are half-done, too. Over the next couple of days, we will be securing the floor from all sides, including reinforcements and spot welds along the seams. The FQ15 (and the M37 on which it is based) have floor panels which are bolted together. Presumably, to disassemble the truck whenever required. Now, since this won't be a requirement any longer, we shall be fusing the floor seams together permanently. This should make the entire structure nice and tight, and minimise any rattling/creaking. The next step will be the seats. After physically testing the current layout, we're going to have to slice 8 inches off the metal box which mounts the seats, just to bring the driver's seat into correct alignment with the floor. We will bolt on the bucket seat, next. Some readjustment is also going to be required to optimally affix the steering column and the position of the pedals.
Some pictures.

With the bonnet loose fitted, again.

I love how brawny and imposing this car looks from the front.

How we're going to have to add a foot's length (or more) to the hood.
