The next major decision we've made pertains to the rake of the windscreen.
Personally speaking, I'm of the view that a hot rod is not REALLY a hot rod, unless it has a shaved, raked-back screen. Now the Sleipnir does NOT have a raked screen at all. And far from being small, it's very large indeed. This is going to be changed. We'll be cutting loose the window-frame hinge, adjust the window backwards, and re-weld the frame to the hinge. Also on the cards, is shaving away a portion of the wind-screen through the middle, so as to reduce it's height. This should make the bonnet look even longer, and will add gorgeous swept-back look to the car's profile. Theoretically speaking, it should also make the interior more 'comfortable' with regards to excessive wind buffeting in the compartment. The rake of the screen SHOULD allow the incoming wind to rake over the occupants. However, all of this isn't necessarily desired: what IS desired is the sexy, low-slung looks that such a modification will engender. This time around, form is going to take precedence over function.
The current profile of the windscreen.

A photoshopped rendition of what the screen will look like, when raked back.

And the final outcome of what the screen's profile should look like when we're done chopping it.
