Thermostat valve

Today i bought the thermostat valve my self and took it to my mechanic and asked him to fix it he was my mechanic since 10 years he was saying beta ap our ap ky abbu gare ka engine farag krne pe tula hua ho ye engine heat up hoi woi engine hai our is garmi ma masla kr de ge our phir ap mujy call mat krna but i persisted and then he put the new t valve worth1450rs from waseem autos saddar rawalpindi also changed the cap worth 290 now as he was saying heat up hua woi engine hai so i wanted to ask koi masla tu nae ho ga
Also tell t valve and cap is guinuine or not t valve is sgp as shown i drove the car today and temperature needle was at middle and car was very much improved in pick noise and fan is also auto

make sure not too visit that mechanic again you tested it your self your car ran better after t.valve dont worry about mechanic statements of "masla kare ga thermostat valve"l

My dear in my opinion thermos valve in a heatup engine is a risk especially in summer do install it in winter but be safe in this hot weather.

if vur mechanic install tstat right. i mean the bleed hole always on top. or upward direction other wise u will be in trouble.

Yes definitely your car is going to run better with a thermostat your car is designed to run at that temperature for maximum fuel efficiency and reduced wear.running your engine cold doesn't give the oil a chance to reach it's specified viscosity and carbon/sludge cleaning abilitys.
If your worried your car might overheat invest in a slimline race fan ,I know from experience even a smaller diameter fan does a better job than the original.you can also fit a override switch (through the factory relay)if you think it might over heat.

Yes bro when he removed the valve i was feeling like my engine is not as it was before cuz i drove without engine oil for 10 mins but when he put the t valve back checked the coolong system and fan on auto it was on its track again im newbie driver this car was used by my father now IA i will kep an eye on the heating of car hope it will not trouble again

Yes after reading many threads and asking suggestions i went for this decision....when the t valve had done its life it should be changed not removed??im i right naw?

Im a newbie but i always get work done from the mechanic in front of my eyes and try to learn new things

That is a good thing. I also stand by the mechanic and try learning aomething out of it. Before going to mechanic do your home work/research so that they don't fool you.

Well done you did well. now next thing you should do is to replace water in radiator with Coolant as water makes rust which sometimes make Tvalve to stuck and hence the heatup. Coolant act as anti rust...

My car throws water from radiator to reservoir bottle. when ever temp needle moves to optimum temp. and doesn't suck back the water. Cap is changed with best quality (390 PKR) . What should i do?
