Yes, everything is unbelievable here. During the entire tenor of case, it was fixed before numerous judges. The first proper hearing was held after 2.5 years of filing of case. It will be unbelivable for you as well. You being a lawyer have the ability to attend the case yourself. Not everyone can manage court kacheri here, considering the judicial system prevailing in our country. Since you are a lawyer, can you guarantee time frame within with the case will be disposed off? Irrespective of its outcome! You must be aware of delaying tactics used by the lawyer community in courts! Paisa bolta hai.

Yes unfortunately it happens, most probably you got a dumb and deaf lawyer or the LIAR who received money from the opposite party, but as i earlier said now the people have more awareness they know whats going on, you have to fight for your right and justice otherwise you will be RAPED everyday.You have to use every possible LEGAL way to get the justice, and now after the JUDICIAL POLICY time frame has been given for the decision of each and every case. and if you feel Judge is corrupt you can also file a complaint against the Judge before Member Inspection Team of High Court and i have seen many a times corrupt judges facing inquires and getting punishment.

There is a procedure for each and every thing We the AWAM dont follow the procedure and blamed the system, There are clients who comes to me and say "Judge se setting karva dein ham ap ko pay kar dain ***" now what can system do? so dishonesty and corruption is in our blood.We usually opt for easiest possible ways irrespective whether its legal or illegal.

Yes you are right,

All of us are in search of shortcut.
But now people are getting awareness. We will have to start somewhere. Because of the malpratice in our judicial system and police station, most of the people don't want to go to the police and courts. I hope this will get better. Most of the people have had bad experience with police and courts. And you are also right that we will have to get justice for ourselves. No one will come give us the justice.

Dear pakwheels members, as a member of pakwheels.com i want to warn you about Peshawar autos.
This shop is near TB hospital and a shadi hall.
These guys sell old engines and spare parts. Recently i purchased a toyota engine. I paid them they also gave me warranty regarding condition of engine. The engine is consuming oil and have lots of other problem, now they have backed out of all their promises and warranties. The name of the thief is Inaam.
They will not even answer your calls once you have paid them.
Please becarefull when dealing with them. they are liars.

Please make one thing clear that the tag line which is revolving in Lahore for past few years is that ''Once you bought the product and the moment you left the shop make it clear no warranties and guaranties'' I being victim to many things today i went bilal gunj and if you are a good person to judge the personality you would get to know what kind of people are sitting there .It's not easy to deal with them and get out a pure product.

In Karachi I only had a few trusted shops, because they knew that I would have brought testing tools like compression gauges, a freind who worked in Allied Engineering used to tag along with me sometimes with his borescope, we would remove a spark plug and look into the cylinder with it - it showed us if the engine was rusty inside.Any owner not allowing to check his item like it should is a CONFIRMED CROOK.

In Karachi I only had a few trusted shops, because they knew that I would have brought testing tools like compression gauges, a freind who worked in Allied Engineering used to tag along with me sometimes with his borescope, we would remove a spark plug and look into the cylinder with it - it showed us if the engine was rusty inside.Any owner not allowing to check his item like it should is a CONFIRMED CROOK.

This is the correct way to buy any thing from these crooks.

If I'm right I have had some interaction with shopkeepers of this market. The parts they are selling are very expensive (considering that these are used or stolen parts). And also, these guys are quite rude. Please correct me if wrong.

its great idea using compression guage etc to buy used cars or engines but how would you find the compression figures for different makes? is it like standard?

To OP, IF you do not have written agreement of your purchase including warranty than court might not help you as they use evidence not words of mouth.
And their are even bigger thieves in court system than you will find in any Bilal Gunjs anywhere in the world.

This friday i am planning to give the final visit to this crook, and set the matters straight. i have gathered some contacts in lahore and in bilal gunj. Else i will take the matter to consumer court, i have his reciept, and lots of other stuff in shape of evidence.

I have been buying stuff from bilal gunj on a regular basis from 2005/06. Not even a single time i get a faulty thing, may be because of the exuberant amount of interest in automobiles. By the way, i have seen crooks like you faced on every second shop. Most sadly this aspect that a haji sb is sitting and rounding tasbhi was a sign of purity in ancient times...not now. sadly.

Yes, there is a union leader in bilal gunj. First, please go to him for the matter, he will surely do something about this.

Please update here regularly. As i know many shopkeepers there, may be i can get something for ya.

Sure. I will keep you guys up to date. I want to keep this thread alive. So others can avoid the hassle i am facing now.
You are the first person, who has been so lucky to get everything right from these people.
They really exploit you when they come to know that you are not resident of lahore. Most of the time people who come to lahore from other cities don't chase them. They consider it more waste of time and money.

still after the thieves... They have lots of lame excuses.. they are really wasting my time an money.
Went to the union leader, but he was not in his office.
The thieves say that its an expense of only 2500 to get replace the rings of the engine and it will be as good as new.
First of all i paid them and bought the crap and now i will have to pay for the engine overhaule expenses by my self? ******, i am tired of these aholes.

bhai app kiyon apni time zaiya kar rahay ho.. In Pakistan sometimes its very hard to find justice . May Allah give you more to recover from your lose. My recommendations are to ask the person again to take some more money and change the engine once again but this time plz you let it check by any professional .
