m using 185/70/14 in vitz. works perfectly and gives slightly more ground clearance which is a blessing in Pk road conditions.

Also what are the different features between vitz variants? Are there any I should be particularly looking out for?

Additionally, before buying I should get it inspected by pakwheels? what else to do (have read the comments above in thread as well)

Have been offered a 2017 (new generation) model for 25 with key (plus lane assist and auto lights) vs the a 2017 (new generation) push start model (plus fog lamps and multimedia steering) for 26. Are the features worth the extra lac rupees?

3 year old used model of a hatch back car for price of almost a new yaris sedan. may Almighty help you.

37k km and 4.5 grade

new Yaris CVT 1.3 is a bit above 28 lac now. Cannot stretch the budget that high.

Asking price is reasonable according to todays market if its 37k km and 4.5 grade. One of my family member has recently bought a fresh import vitz of 3.5 grade 2017 model in white color and it was driven 50k km... he bought for 25.5 here in islamabad ... also Islambad / rawalpindi market is a little bit expensive plus there is more demand of white color in the market

plus there is no comparison of local and japanis yaris / vitz... imported ones have feel of quality and comfort when you drive them

lease a brand new with huge down payment short number of installments a new car with warranty is much better then a 3 year old used car

go through the vitz owner sharing 90% of the mechanical parts required for suspension and engine maintenance are not available brand new.

Vitz is not like any other jdm and that's why it is selling like hot cake.
It shares oil filters, cvt fluids and other common parts with corolla hence dealerships are also covering vitz
Even for engine rebuild all parts are available brand new. Ask @rajaatta

Hmmm... Well... No idea about it, unless / until its 5~6 auction grade / above with verifiable, genuine auction sheet, no meter reversal, interior / exterior scores as A/A, genuine low mileage, etc.

Still, 25 lac PKR price tag seems on a higher side for a base variant of Vitz, i.e. FM Package.

IMO, not worth buying in 25 lac PKR.

If you have 25 lac PKR, and are willing to spend it, then I would sincerely suggest to spend it on a vehicle which is worth buying; brand new Toyota Yaris as an example, or used 1.6~1.8L Corolla Altis, etc.

IMO, considering current economic conditions now, in 25~26 lac PKR, these both vehicles are not worth going, i.e. Vitz is not worth going in 25~26 lac PKR.

If I have 25~26 lac PKR, I would rather prefer to go for a used, well maintained Mercedes Benz E Class or S Class instead.
