Ticking / Clicking Sound while accelerating

AoA Guys..

I have a Honda City 2009 automatic.. Recently done Tuning and Oil Change.. The car gives a ticking / Clicking sound while accelerating as soon as I drop the pressure on pedal noise go away.. It only happens on acceleration.. Kindly help me with the issue.

Have you checked for small stones stuck in your tire tread? They often cause the clicking sound.

is the sound coming from engine? if yes, they could be noisy tappets/rockers..

there are no stones..Can u please tell me the best workshop for honda city in Karachi

tappet noise is very ok and normal for every car. did mechanic opened tappets for setting too during your recent tuning?

Yup ... the sound only comes while accelerating..otherwise no sound.... Thanks for ur reply budd,,,

Yup.. I bought the car in used condition.. Will see the catalytic converter.. Today and update here..

The sound is of engine knock.

Fill 50/50 hi octane and see if it settles.

If persists visit 3s for a software update I believe this issue was common amongst Cities of this era.
