Tiger Boxer 200cc Engine Wiring

Hello Everyone,
I own a 1977 model of Honda XL350 offroad Bike. Three months ago, I replaced the old engine with a Tiger Boxer 200cc. Everything was working just fine until last week when the bike stopped starting. Both the self starter and the kick start stopped working. After some research on the internet, I found out that the electric wiring needs to be replaced (It was apparent as the wiring was very old). I removed the old wiring and bought a standard Honda125 wiring and tried to do it my myself but in vain...I tried hard to bring out the spark on the plug but it would spark sometimes (once if I kick it 10 times on average).
Despite trying all the combinations of connecting the wires from magneto, I couldn't produce a proper spark. Please enlighten. Your Help is much appreciated .

Check if it's ac cdi check continuity on the ignition coil in the magneto.
Check if all pols of magnet are OK in the magneto.
Cechk the coil primary and secondary resistance
Check the continuity and resistance from spark plugs boot till the ignition coil.
Check proper grounding.
Cdi might be faulty. Its capacitor might have gone wrong and might not be charging and discharging properly.

I have bought a new cdi and its not working with that too. Sometimes it sparks and other times it doesn't.
Can you please explain how to check the magneto and ignition coil? If there is problem in magneto, how much it costs to get it right?

Not a user user name for tiger engine. For that try local mechanic or the is a Facebook page for tiger boxer 200 thailand post there.

It might be the magnet, or the coil responsible for generating the current for spark., or the ignition coil increases the voltage for spark, or might be the pulser coil. The pulser could tells your cdi unit when to fire. Check the pulser coil. Share pics someone might chime in.

Checking pulser coil is easy. I would recommend you Chek it first.

Check all connectors there might be some cable loose.

The problem might be with Stator coil but more doubt is on pulsor coil, which I think misses to detect pulese ...
