Is it allowed to have a Tinted Car Windows in Pakistan or is it Illegal ? and how much dose it cost to get Tinted Car Windows ?

Only those tints are legal which allow the passenger of the car to be visible. Means no black or mirror tinting. For some cars genuine tinted glasses, not a tint sperate on paper but inbuilt are, are available. For my daewoo orignal light green tinted daewoo nexia glasses came for only 400 rs i.e. 100/ window from cha sultan. Pper tinting is really fargile and fades after one season but sure are cheap.

THAT'S NOT THE CASE CODERNAUT. THE THING IS THAT EVEN THE LIGHT ONES REFLECT AT NIGHT WHEN LIGHT IS FLASHED ON THEM AND THE POLICE CANT SEE SO EVEN THAT'S NOT ALLOWED. I WOULD SUGGEST THE REMOVEABLE SHADES IF YOU REALLY WANT. THEY'RE CHEAP AND SAFE.

These jackass thullas stop tinted windows just for some 50/- 100/- Rs otherwise these idiots also know that a Culprit wont use a Tinted car for Fun and chaos and to get atention in whole traffic......

Ask them the following question (they have worked for me )

Why dont you stop all the cars and stop judging by the cars numberplate and appearence whther it has some sort of problem or not....Just stop everybody ...Dont discriminate

Well i go to Blue Area daily and my cars have 30% tint....they stop me sometime but i never let em remove them and also THe JALEE wala pardas are not illegal.....this is for sure and their is no special order against it....if they tell you that we are keeping your pardas then you tell them to make a Receipt on paper and your BADGE # (it,s on their Belt in Pakistan)...will meet you in magistrate court bastard

my experience.....i came out of chaklala scheme III and was at the main round about going towards airport when a police squad pickup tried to intercept me. but i made a run for it and lost them in traffic little did i know that they had informed the thulaas at the rawal road chowk..they stopped me on the red light. told me to remove my shades checked the license and thats it.

Tints are Legal if you have permission from the City`s DC. I have one and if the cops stop me ( Which they never did ) I show the permission and bye Thullas.

Tinted glasses are illegal by local orders only. Traffic laws say nothing about them. I had tinted glasses and was stopped in Islamabad but got out by arguing. Still have tinted glasses in Karachi but avery light tint. Jali screens are agreat idea!

They arent allowed but i have it from the past 1 month and no one stopped me yet. I guess its all abt how lucky u r. And u can judge by the local things going on. Like if the security is tight dont drive on roads which dont have lights coz mostly the police standing in the dark.

Is red tint paper easily avilable?
