How do the full turning of Hydraulic power steering of Baleno put excess load on alternator ?

I never wrote that full turning of Hydraulic power steering of Baleno put excess load on alternator.

Power steering, compressor and alternator required engine HP to work – when idle, u haven’t much of that – which results in a little bit drop of RPM when you turn the wheel completely (in idle/stop state) – the pump required more power and result in revs down. When ECU senses the drop of RPM – it increases the revs again to prevent engine to stall - and u feel drop of RPM.

U won't feel it when moving.

Also there are alot of other reasons of such behaviour.

-malfunctioning of sensors - when turning the wheels - ECU doesn't increase the revs enough to keep the engine stable due to wrong signals by faulty sensor.

-faulty power pump or alternator required more power of engine to operate - indirectly they are putting load on each other by decreasing engine revs.

Soemtimes u feel a little bit drop of RPM when switching ON head lights, AC and using power windows etc when car is on idle. Actually - u r putting load on alternator and it requires more power of engine result in drop of engine revs - and when sensor inform ECU - it increases the revs required to stable the engine.

when moving, you don't feel any RPM drops on full steering. RPM fluctuate a little bit - when u turn the steering to dead end and then release - thats normal. In power steering - both power pump and alternator should be perfect.

Sometimes faulty power pump result in excess load on alternator and cause the RPM drop and same problem in case of bad alternator.

BTW - EFI car without power steering - no drive pleasure - there should be limit of downgrading.

Downgrading is a different issue,i dont object the powersteering but indeed our mechanics which are like super heros when talk about but infact ruin the cars of others doing alterations.

RPM drop is a major issue in balenos and power stearing increase this tendancy in Baleneos unlike city, or rollas( dont know why)

i have cleaned throttle from spray but in vain... den i checked the air filter box and i found the culprit.. the tape which block the air pipe have somehow sliped or somthing... covering almost all of the diameter of pipe leaving the car to struggle for air.. i just put new tape and car is all fine again... thank God.
sometimes problem is minor in baleno i guess its very difficult to diagnose it... i even checked my car from scanner for sensor malfunction etc... but the technician was unable to diagnose the problem... anyway car is doing fine again..

doubt goes directly to the throttle body and tps,some times advancer also become clprit, if the car is cng converted.

Directly power steer has nothing to with RPM drop - mostly the issue is due to faulty sensors.

I faced the issue when turning the wheels but the issue was due to faulty TPS sensor and mechanics were telling that power pump is gone.

Sometime the issue get resolved temprory by cleaning TB but that is not the solution.

To diagnose - u need proper diagnostic tool. The tools with our local mechanics so called EFI specialists are too old and even not updated for years. They are scanning ur 2004 coils pack baleno with software of 1995 japanese baleno - totally different.

U will seen them saying that sub balenos par chal jaata hay yeah software.

need to inquire about the baleno small round seal on gearbox through which the gear shaft enters the gearbox, do we need to open up the gear box to replace it or it can be changed by removing the shaft only???

i have balino 99. my problem is that my car rpm is not adjusting on cng and petrol. it always on hoghes side and my my mechanic says it is minimum aud if he try to low the speed car will be turnd off. secondly my check engine light is ON. mechanic says change your air filter sensor it will be OK. any suggestings plz.......

Just get the throttle body cleaned only.

No need to dismantle the gear box completely but u will required to remove the gear box - latheman will change the seal.

Also - if problem get resolve temprory by cleaning TP then - oil free the CNG kit and cylinder.

brothers my Baleno Radiator is leaking coolant from draining cork area. Only 6 months ago i replaced the radiator, genuine Suzuki, from Suzuki 3S. however in the process i replaced coolant thrice cause i didnt like one or other coolant.

Now although its a very small thing its not available from Suzuki dealership. I asked from Rawalpindi Saddar with Kiani autos Gawalmandi and Waseem autos Saddar but the cork is not fitting in that slot.
any idea from where i can get it?

WS - better visit a radiator repairing shop. They will do the job very easily.
