Tips for Baleno

brothers my Baleno Radiator is leaking coolant from draining cork area. Only 6 months ago i replaced the radiator, genuine Suzuki, from Suzuki 3S. however in the process i replaced coolant thrice cause i didnt like one or other coolant.

Now although its a very small thing its not available from Suzuki dealership. I asked from Rawalpindi Saddar with Kiani autos Gawalmandi and Waseem autos Saddar but the cork is not fitting in that slot.
any idea from where i can get it?

Its the area under the radiator there is a cork there, it is used to flush the radiator.

sir i didnt mean to show me the location of cork which i already know but to the condition of your cork or the thread over your cork,is it leaking from the cork or the area in radiator's lower tank around the cork?

I inspected the cork its grooves are worn out.
nothing wrong with the slot..

easiest way is to search in the market,put your car in garrage and pull out the older cork,take in hand and search for the same:)

AoA, I am a silent reader of all your comments. Now due to some problems in my drive(99, Baleno, 1.3) i am required your expert opinion.
The problem is, my baleno gives a "PATHAKHA" occasionally when it is in the 2nd Gear on CNG. What could be the reasons and solutions?

First of all make sure there should be no leakage in air intake system,if there is no leakage then check spark plug gap (It should be in-between 0.7mm to 0.8mm),also check spark plug leads and plug cap for cracks and leakages.

Air intake leakage has been already checked. the "Phathka" sounds were alot, then i changed the new spark plugs and it gone to almost zero. the gap of the plug is 0.8mm.
These aspects are covered, whts now??

In balenos the main culprit is coil and air intake system faults like leakage, old air filter, loose air filter..

OK, i 'll better check it.
However, one more question.
Is it possible to put cultus or Margalla engine in Baleno? If so, what are the possible alterations, etc??

margalla is not Efi, only late models may be EFi but i am not sure.. putting a carby engine in Efi will cause increased fuel consumption..
Cultus is 1000 cc so your car will be underpowered..

So What should be the choice of replacement then? I want to replace its engine..

If you really want to change Baleno's engine than can try your luck in the old market, can find 1.6L powerful engine for Baleno ... and that engine would be from same chassis as 1.3 Baleno available here in Pak.

OK, i 'll better check it.
However, one more question.

Now readjust gas flow from power T or start patrol solenoid valve.

how can i detect the difference b/w baleno Glip and Gti, i would appreciate if the answer is in detail.

first check air filter condition and box tightness
then spark plug gap , replace spark plugs if driven more than 15000 km
Finally if problem still persists, replace plug wires
Last option is to check coils(not costly for baleno 99)
Patakha and missing problem in 2nd gear espacially is due to lack of current
Bad spark plug wires give problem mostly in CNG only
Bad Coil give problem both in CNG and petrol

I'm having a baleeno 99 for last 7 months
My baleno had similar performance issues in 2nd gear
After changing spark plugs and gaping patakha problem arose
Finally I figured out that main culprit is bad spark leads/wires
I simply changed wires and all performance problems resolved
Hope it will help other baleno owners

very right,optima wires will cost 1400 pkr and they are cheap and trustable wires.
