AOA bhai looog...I am planning to change the tyres of my JXR....the ones I already have are General XP-2000 165/80/13...please suggest me the good brand and profile in 13" and prices in Lahore if you have any idea.
My current tyres lives their life already, the problem I am facing with the General Tyres are poor performance while breaking and in cornering. One more thing is that whether 14" alloy rims gives any better performance than the stock steel wheels or should I stick with stock wheels and just get any good brand tyres in 185/70/13 or 175/70/13 profile.

i have a JXR 2002 and i changed the tires to Yokohama when i bought it 2nd hand. Yokohama 175/70/13. they are a little oversize for the car as when you try to take a tight turn the front tires touch the body. atleast thats my experiance with the 175/70 size. but its not a prob. just an observation. else Yokohama are best buy. excellent in braking and they increase the drive comfort of the car.

i have jxr 2002.having stap 101 crank advancer.the problem is that when i connect
it with my baleno (factory cng)then it does not show red light while i used the same advancer in other baleno then it is working fine...i have checked all the wiring from tps crank etc all are ok by electrician..they even check from ecu.all is well..there is a cng
shop whose dealer told me that he knows my baleno coz the person from whom i bought the car had also visited him..and he knows that the advancer is off.he said that i should pay him 1000 rs and he will on it in the same wiring....i dont want this man to touch my car....bcoz he may again do some masti in it....what to do....i am in karachi

@fawad memon, probably ur advancers wiring is cut. as it must have been previusly been conected with the Calm-shaft sensors wire. the ones being installed now are cheaper and are connected with the maf sensor.

the previus ones advancers used to cost around 9k
the ones conected with the maf sensor cost around 2.5k

You need to get it checked there cannot be any other reason if the wiring is okay, current is okay then it shud light up.

@azfar bhae, 175/70/13 is the genuine size for Baleno.

165/80/13 is the size for Honda City. General stoped making the 175 size after Baleno was discontinued so the resellers wud say 165/80 is better and gives height to your car. To sell it

Yar actually i have 2 overhaul d car bcoz its main bigends r giving sound on acceleration gaskit looks faulty aswell.but jab tak chalti hay chalaonga magar aik problem aur jo foran hal ho jayay wo steering ful ghumanay say viberate kerti hay rpm girati hay aur resist kerti hay jaisay tyre touch ker rhay hon body say but i have 175 70 14, a/c on ker nae sakta slow may band ho jati hay mechanic says jb tk overhaul nae karani tb tk choke censor lazmi change karun coz rpm could only b controle agar ye censor theek ho aur mine is faulty.yeh kaisay pata chalay k mechanic theek keh rha hay?gari ka choke censor kaisay check kerun?

choke sensor :S can u give a picture? maybe its the calm shaft sensor that controls rpm and acts a distributor in Baleno last time i checked it costed 2800 but fortunatly my cars sensors wire was blown sensor theek tha. 175/70/14 is also the genuine tire size which came in Baleno sports and JXL with alloy rims.

yaar get your engine overhauled...the symptoms you are telling about are same as my car had shown...4 days back i cracked that nut and get my baleno engine overhauled...although the activity got out of my budget but now i m satisfied...still completing its running 1000 Kms...can tell you my experience later(H)

chinyoti yaar i also have never heard about choke sensor...may be you are right he is taking about the cam sensor...cause this sensor do the same what he is talking about

Dear Baleno Master,

I am facing problem of engine vibration in first and second gear. (Means Slow Spead ). I got it tuned from Suzuki Jan motors in Lahore and also change the spark plugs, but so far it didnt resolve the matter. Can u plz let me know why it is happening.

nuksaan tu koi nahin hota but car ruk jati hay aur start nahin ho sakti.

yaar timing belt toot jaye to there is a chance that your piston might hit the valves and bend them.

Yar choke censor mechanic jis ko bol rha tha thats lower 1 among 2 censors behind throtle body. 2ndly how many % is d chance that radiator cap becomes d coz 2 avaporate water from radiator n bottle aswel? I m getting radiator n bottle 'Hali' after every 40~50 km on long rout. Dear waqas! How much cost u over hauling?wot parts u changed in overhauling?how many tym consumed?from where did you overhaul?how is ur experience after overhauling? Please reply . . .

Kindly guide me. My Baleno Car 2004 model does not start when engine is hot. When I leave it for 10 to 20 minutes, then it easily start. There is no problem in winter. Thanks

check the oil stick in case ur cars gasket is dead and the waters mixing with oil.

Im not sure what is a 101 Advancer, But yes the cng advancer was powered with the crank sensors wiring due to which my cars wiring screwed and the sensor stoped working.

After that i thot it CNG that made the check light on so i didnt bothered. i didnt bothered much as it was driving fine on CNG and there was some missing on Petrol.

After some time cng started having issues (advancer died) i tuk my car to the cng mechanic he said ur car isnt stabble on Petrol unless thats fixed. the car cannot be set on CNG.

After working alot finaly i tuk my car to khan motors they plugged in the OBD scanner and the scanner told us that the sensor wasnt working.

Got that fixed missing issue resolved. Went to the cng mechaninc again

Got a new advancer installed. this advancer was installed on maf/map sensor wiring and costed Rs2500.

The advancer that is installed on the calm shaft senor costed around 9k.

yaar i want to start a new thread for the cost sharing of engine overhaul...just because that it may be helpful to all people looking for engine overhaul..but PW server may have gotten some problem coz its not authorizing me to start a new thread...i have complete bill with me with separate price of all items...as far as your question concern about total cost...it cost me 28,000 Rs...and i get it overhauled from one of my friend...he is Diploma holder mechanic and works good...still i m completing the initial running of car (1000km) and car is awesome. having some problem of starting when engine is hot...but mechanic told me that it would happen due to new setup and resolves after few hundred km running of car (and its getting better)...no smoke, no oil drop...no vibration...as im not allowed to run it over 40-50km/hr till 1000 km so can not tell about performance..but believe me i can feel a new better power under the hood...after 1000km the tappets would be adjusted again and then i can tell you my experience.(H)

mere pas baleno 2004 jxr hai .. mere gare me kharkao bohat hai .. means jab jumps me lagte hai .. to boht awazay ate han .. sides gates etc wagara .. or ak or bat mere jo agla drive side wala shock hai woh boht naram hai or dusare side wala bohat hard hai .. or pechay se be gari kafi behte huwa hai .. is k baray me mujay batai k me kia karu .. becoz abi mere car me 13' ka tire laga huwa hai me 15' alloa... dlna chahraha hu ... so please mujay guide karain .. thx

Dear waqas! Yar im going 2 overhaul the car hopefully in a couple of day from delta motor walton road.Mechanic, i have met him thrice,looks 2 me known about efi cars well, by practicle not theuretically i mean that he dont have any digree or diploma.Should i go 4 him? 2ndly please guide me from where 2 buy parts? 3rdly i ll b a little tension 4 u but i need the prices of parts u purchased. 4thly how many will b engine swap cost as u would have taken notice 2. Best rdgards.
