My car baleno missing and fluctuating IDLE slightly up and down what the issue any one tell?

Hi everyone.

My car has started to make very violent noises when I turn the steering wheel. It seems like the cv joints are toast. The sound is like a grinding sound.

I have researched and the problem seems of cv joints. Am I correct?

Is there any advice you would like to give about getting such repair work done on baleno? What parts should I choose or any other tips if you have had similar work done on your car.

Can anybody please let me know what exactly is the method of checking the engine oil level. As in the morning before starting, oil is an mm short of the desired level. But when i come back home and check the oil level say after about 4 hours oil level is ok. Since the head job is done i can smell petrol in the morning on first start. Although there's no carbon in the exhaust. Can anybody please guide if all this indicates something about engine health. Thanks.

in the morning...specially winters, the injectors work on flood mode, so if no blue smoke and no excessive deposits on exhaust tip, you r fine, how is the fuel average? there is a trimpot under steering to adjust AFR, but i wont touch it if everything is going fine..

for oil levels, my logic says that overnight stay would make max oil go into sump. however some of it will stay in head galleries, so stick should show max level...

Yes there's no blue smoke and i checked the exhaust it was clean not much carbon. Without AC i was getting around 12, with AC its in between 10-11. Do i need to top up the oil so that it shows full before first start in the morning. Thanks.

if u have poured 3.5 lts on the oil change....then i think no need

Dear dont mess with it unless u have exhaust gas analyzer with u ti check air fuel ratio and CO in exhaust. I already have turned it accidently and now waiting for suzuki people to open up and fix the AFR ratio.

u can go to Enercon tuneup they have gas analyzer as well. and will do the tuneup for you.

proper way of checking oil level is to have a little drive then stop the car on levelled and flat service wait for another 5 minutes and check the dip stick.

salam everyone..can someone from rwp/isb guide me whether should i go for complete engine overhaul or should buy one (KABLI)i am planning to change the engine with complete wiring what would be the estimated cost and where should i go for the best work someone who can give warranty/guarantee of their work?
one thing more recently i changed gasket of the headportion(cover which has oil cap) aftr replacing that car is showing Engine oil sign(Red color) what could be wrong?
EDIT:-this sign comes on if engine oil pump is not working fine or if oil is not enough i just checked the oil and oil level is okay so either oil pressure is not high enough or oil pump has gone bad but why after hanging the gasket only?

If its not reducing engine oil then why you want to go for overhaul or engine change? any specific problems you are facing, post gasket change.

because oil and water is mixing headgasket is blown and engine is not powerful enough besides it has done too many miles already i.e 285000
Engine was leaking oil from that cover on which there's oil cap so replaced gasket below it

I have to change disc pads of my car. Can someone please let me know the brand for brake discs. following are the two available on PW. Are they any good if somebody has used any of these.

Can somebody have a loot at this and tell me what the problem is? This smoke from silencer goes away after 4 seconds after a cold start
