Complete sets are changed.

Complete sets can be changed also, but if you have a matching set which you want to keep, then the complete inside motor set can be replaced and the outer body can be the same.

I did the same, and kep my old side mirror outer body, as the one which was offered to me had more scratches, so i opted to change the inside system.

no mate, i didn't face any such thing.

If your car does not reduce oil then there is nothing wrong with your engine's valve seals.

I assume you are a bit extra conscious about the white smoke which normally becomes more visible during winter season which is normal.

hi guys,

my car is having fluctuating idle rpm. when i even slightly press the accelerator, the fluctuations go off. its there on petrol as well as cng. and also when i release the accelerator while driving (during the deceleration) the car gives jurks (jhatkay khati ha, smooth decelerate nahin hoti). then i have to press the clutch to disengage the engine from the wheels.
Today i went to the mechanic, (as advised by the specialists on the forum) and got the plugs changed and TB cleaning, however, the jurks / fluctuations are still there. now the mechanic tells me that the TB is faulty n u need to change it :(.
1. Pls advise me on replacing the TB
2. Any idea of the price of the TB
3. Is there any procedure for repairing it (price?? n reliability??)

Go to suzuki house bilal ganj,i have seen many with them and about the price they will demand four times greater,so its your skill now to do the business.

A good kangi should be around 2500. pk rs.

bhai TB ko kch nhn hota until or unless TB kahe sy leak ho jae...the mechanic is probably telling you about the malfunctioning of TB censer...well censer can do malfunctioning but its not necessary that they become faulty or useless...you can try this as first corrective action, unplug the positive terminal of battery and plug it again after 5 min, 10-15% chances are that problem would be resolved, if not then go to some workshop who has facility of computer diagnostic system, they shall find the problem (if any) and fix it with computer, cost you about 300-500 Rs...qabli TB price is about 3000-3500 Rs (got to know it 1 year back)

I took my Baleno to different mechs, now have 2 different options either to get it opened and fixed ( kharadia asking for 1500 with full confidence as they say its in good condition i.e no damage, no sound / leaking) the other option is to simply get it replaced from B.Gunj.

Yar waqas. Tumahri baleno nain to tumhain pakka ustad bana dia hai baleno ka. Mera masla bhe solve kardo. I had sold my baleno 99 and have bought again baleno GXI 2001 the full powered one and on petrol (No CNG). Petrol avg buhut kharab hai gari ka. Its giving nothing more than 10km/l w/o A/c. Any suggessions. Have done almost every thing trying to solve the problem including map, cam, crank, tb sensors. plugs, plugwires, filters etc every thing. Do you have any idea what else be checked to overcome the problem. I remember my previous baleno used to give 14km/l consistently. thanks in advance.

Here it is the kangi,look its teeh called rack,if the rack rod is to be replace you can find a rod only in junkyard otherwse get a complete kangi in 25 to 35 hundred rupees.

Preffer dont repair it.

this car gave me a lot of problem but i am thankful to this car because it taught me a whole new subject. ok so we shall now start point by point.
as you have replace or maintain all censers in your car now you must observe following
what is the condition of engine, an engine that has completed its life consume more fuel.
clean the fuel filter in petrol tank and fuel filter and replace if necessary
check the injectors, might need cleaning or replacing (try using STP injector cleaner)
check if the spark coils are ok or not
adjust the spark plugs gap as advised in car manual...more the gap, more will be the fuel consumption, less the gap less will be the acceleration (get the optimum gap)
check if the car previously has CNG setup???if so and still it have it then bypass the advancer, advancer setup is only for CNG, it increases the petrol consumption
get the computerize check up of your car and then have computerize tuning, if possible get the exhaust emission test that will verify if un burnt fuel is emitting or not.
and the most important and very first step...let me know if your car is 1.3 or 1.6:P...coz if it is 1.6 then average is ok:-#:P;)

have recently changed its radiator and my driver puts ordinary water in rediator............should i put coolant in radiator or keep using the normal water???
will it harm engine or radiator in longrun????

coolant is better than water,
use a distal water whether used alone or in combination with coolant!

Always use coolant to avoid rust .... I have seen people ruining cooling system of their new cars (say just 15,000KM done) by putting water instead of coolant.

never use distilled water alone in radiator, distilled water is acidic in nature, pH 5~...u can use it in combination with coolant but never use it alone...its a wrong concept, it will cause corrosion in radiator.

the prove to this statement is that you can not drink a distilled water, it will cause acidity to your stomach and will damage it
