i want to clean the petrol tank of my car from mechanic! is it a normal or complicated work!
so how much time it takes and whats the kharcha normally!

i also want to clean (as well as the fuel indication in meter is not working) the tank, as my mechanic ask me that it would take about 1 & half to 2 hours..
about cost.. it is 300/- to 500/- he charges me.

Guys,

My baleno starts to shake a little when i go above 130 KMPH on motorway. Is it the usual case with your rides as well? If not, what do you think might be the reason? My guess is the front suspension. But if any one knows some better possible reason, would appreciate

Check your balance rod bushes and chimta bushes and if metter persists check the play in wheel's ball bearings.

Mine get little shaky around 135 - 140 ....

The bushes and bearings i told afore cause such problems if tyres and rims are ok even at low speeds.

Balancing cause wobbling not shaking.

yup i observe, there is no leakage of oil in the whole exhaust system.

so what i do now?

look yaar...Kanghi ka problem k liay zaroori nhn k oil leakage bhi start ho jae...the Teeth of kanghi can be worn out while seals are ok...so if seals are ok then no oil leakage would be found...unfortunately you have to change the kanghi...:(...big kharcha...

hello there...1.6 gti all the way...there are many witnesses over PW that 1.6 gti have beaten corrolas and hondas marginally...probably reason being more aero dynamic shape and less weight...and the spark system of gti

For how much $$ a kabli "kanghi" could be found from bilal gunj ?

For worn out teeth, shouldn't it some kind of noise etc ? cuz one of the mechanic did give a verdict kay kharab kanghi aawaz deti hai.

I need to be sure before going for 4-5K for new kanghi, unfortunately every mechnaic have a new story

It depends on the level of wear on your steering arm gears,if the demaged teeth are so blunt that they easily slips away from each other there must be grinding sound but if the level is lesser then the play thing will act upon.

I advise you not to do that because some times the gunk sticky inside the tank will be removed and in the long run you might have demaged the tank.
Try to locate some honest filling station instead.

The gunk settled in the base of your tank is acting like a protective layer now.

Well i remember, you already have statred a thread in CNG related form so you might be much more knowledgeable about the filling stations in different parts of our country.

Yes you will have to chek the float guage inside the tank for that or possibly check the connections behind meters or worst the temp meter is out of order.

And for the people like you and only faith i would like to comment on,try octain booster if your fuel is not giving you satisfaction in performence and if your fuel is becoming the cause of jurks while driving then use injector cleaners before you go to dismental your tank or injectors.

Go to suzuki house bilal ganj,i have seen many with them and about the price they will demand four times greater,so its your skill now to do the business.

A good kangi should be around 2500. pk rs.
