Tips for Baleno

Dear Baleno Experts

now i realized that my car gives blue smoke in morning when i start it.

my mechanic told me that "vaulve seals" need to be changed and the cost is about 5k.

help plz!

hi guys.. can any1 guide me how can i adjust rpm sensor... i have jxr 2003 milleage 100k... idle rpm is 600 (on AC 700).. i had tried to increase it through tht screw at throttle body but when i restart the engine it comes to 600.. this happens both on petrol and cng.

i got throttle body butterfly repaired 2 months back but no use.. One more thing, after about 6 or 8 kilometers throttle becomes more sensitive i.e during slow driving slight pressure on accelerator n car advances abruptly...

there is no back firing at all... plugs r new (denso) .. plugs gap is 1mm..CNG mileage is 105km (with AC) - 120km within city no engine chk light or any other problem....

Seals cost 300 to 800 pak rs.in different qualities,where as gaskit and half kit can be baught from 600 to 1500 pak rs.laboure for the work is about 1500 pak rs,upon opening the head if head facing needed,cost will be 500,if valve grinding or seat making needed then the labour will be around 1000 pak rs.Some time oil also be changed after head works,cost around 1500.

So make your mind this can happen in worst situation.

I am using chinese goda kit for 1100 pak rs.since 8 months,no claim yet.

For shock this can be refilled or you may find a qabli shock in shersha,refill around 800 pak rs. whereas qabli should be around 2000 pak rs.

never...i mean neeeeeeveeerrrrrrrrrr try to adjust RPMs from throttle body screw until your car is dying without it...RPMs of car on CNG can be adjust with the *** present on CNG kit...get it done from any professional...plug gap ziada hy, reduce it, i have forgotten the actual gap for CNG car but it surely is less than 1 mm...

:P:P:D:D:D:D:P:P:P your rite GODA and your left Shock...sounds interesting...bhai ya tu natural hi hoty hy...Allah ny spear nhn diay sath main...you have to get it repaired from any orthopedic doctor;):D:D:D:D

ok on other note...if the shock and Goda is not already repaired, you can get them repaired one time, no worries...repaired origional stuff like this is always better than chinese one (if job done by good mechanic)

Gap should be between 7 to 8mm for cng users.

If they are genuine from the factory still in car, repair may work or else get kabli ones. For dhak dhak sound, check for the ball joint of suspension. It is the most likely culprit.

Sir I have already told in this thread that i always give suggestion according to my personal experience and i am going with 7.5mm gaps very decently and with smoth engine output with cng.

I am quite happy with pickup and no heating issues aswell.

The very first time i got them adjusted to this level was a little doubtful decession though this settings comes with mehran,but since when i have done this car never tried to take a load on first move,which i were feeling alot after O/H and clutch assembly changed.

just give me a favor...get a ruler (scale) and check what 7.5 mm means...factory setting is 1.1 mm and you almost had them fixed at the 7 times of factory setting...at this gap conduction is almost impossible:)

i usually set gap at 0.80mm but the acceleration was slow and pick was relatively good, cng consumption was a bit more ..at 1.0mm pick is very bad but acceleration is good, cng consumption is less... on this weekend i will try to put that corolla airbush for good pickup....

I know the factory specs about gaps but telling you truth that if your car hesitat in first move,lesser gap will solve the problem.

I dont use tapes and air bush thingy rather ventury has projetion inside to overcome this reason.

Abour your problem;

This behaviour of your car is on cng or petrol?
