Tips for Baleno

hey skill bhai ... its 0.75mm.... n i just adjust it at 1.0mm .. according to baleno manual its ff plugs gap is 1.1mm...

i usually set gap at 0.80mm but the acceleration was slow and pick was relatively good, cng consumption was a bit more ..at 1.0mm pick is very bad but acceleration is good, cng consumption is less... on this weekend i will try to put that corolla airbush for good pickup....

aray bhai meri problem to discuss kroo... on slow acceleration if i press accelerator slowly car abruptly accelerates (with a jerk) y is that...

I know the factory specs about gaps but telling you truth that if your car hesitat in first move,lesser gap will solve the problem.

I dont use tapes and air bush thingy rather ventury has projetion inside to overcome this reason.

Abour your problem;

on both petrol n cng.... computerised tunnig k bad b yehi problem ha.... slight pressure on accelerator (during slow driving) n it give jerks .

ok theek hy:)....acha bhai baat ya hy k aap ki car ko tuning ka problem nhn hy...the problem is in spark system or the clutch pressure plates...either the coils/plugs of your car are finished or the clutch pressure plates have completed their life...what i presume is, the problem lies in clutch and pressure plates...you have to replace them but get an expert mechanic's opinion...the poor pick at low speed including jerks is the same symptom as i felt in my car...at that time i, myself felt strongly that there is something wrong in transmission system and finally came to know that clutch system is done... i got them replaced and lived happily ever after

on side line note...pick and acceleration are technically exactly same thing...but you can always break the leg of technical terminologies as per your need/demand:P

This is normal in baleno,try to adjusted your foot on clutch pedal early than these jerks.

:o i dint experience that...my office is on ferozepur road...a very congested area to drive...but i never felt that in slow driving...baleno is after all a very good car, don't underestimate it(H)

I am not underestimating it but if the clutch adjustment is out then he 'll either have to concern to the mechanic or develop his habbit.

but this problem arises after throttle body butterfly repaired... i have replaced clutch n pressure plates n bearing way almost 3 months bak.... i think throttle is the main culprit?? or the accelerator pedal needs som adjustment...

If you have new clutch assembly and have gone through clutch services and you doubt about the throttle body,i advise you to once check your accelrator cable and its adjustment too,some times a little problem in accelrator cabel adjustment becomes the cause of such response from throttle otherwise an apparent observation is needed.

1. Did you go through the enercon tests.what was the result sheet telling?

2.From which workshop you got your car's engine o/h?

You got realy controled prices,well done.

3.From which shop do you buy the parts?

4.Was your pressure plate in pretty good condition?

5.Did your joint kit includes the plug seals?

I remember the joint kit of KP includes these but if it was KGK then you would have to buy these 4 seals separatly which seals the plug holes and refrain oil to spoile the plugs area.

You should have used ZIC A for the first time as its mineral and very good for the new engines.

6.What was the problem in former throttle body?

7.Did you turn your crank or just polishing was done?

8.At what size are your crank and pistons now?

1 is very foolish who think baleno is less from n e aspect except interior is lit bit :-!:-! else no match to baleno specially what the pick speed n handling
it really rocks
its fun to drive specially on motor ways when u crossed rolla some paidu looks u so strangly that is baleno able to smoke their rollaaa(A)(A)(A)(A)s

The enercon people found a faulty TPS and the smoke testing revealed the engine's weak.. Thats all
I got my engine overhauled from wah cantt, Mujahid Auto.. Nobody touches my car's mechanical apart from Mujahid.. The parts were bought from Sana Auto(babu mohalla) located at the road at the back of waseem auto.. I replaced clutch and pressure set not long ago but due to the leakage in throtle body and malfunction of the sensor i managed to tore the clutch plate.. Presure came out ok, needed some tooling..
I dont remember the brand but yea the joint kit had plug seals..
The crank just required polish work..
Head bored at 0.50 now.

I had to put ZIC in but i fgot to get it 4m pindi, n localy here in wah cantt ZIC ki bht complaint hei.. So i thought i should buy havoline 4m caltex.
The engine sound is much better now! The drive is smooth too, the car's pretty quiet at idle now but yea the suspension sounds hiding behind the loud engine sound are obvious now

Did you buy throttle body in 4000 rs, with sensors?

Yes the throtle body was worth Rs.4000 along with the sensor.. The pathan was not willing to sale it at less then Rs.5000 but mujahid(My mechanic) was with me with his workshop clothes on.. He bargained with him saying i have changed hundreds of throtle bodies and none cost me more thn 4000.. Eventualy he gave it to me and it came out to be a good piece too.. The throtle body for your info was bought from mithoo khan ahata-naseem auto.. Give him my reference if anybody needs..

@hassan: Bhai mene tou waqee baleno dekhi bhi nih .. Lekin aap ager wikipedia bi dekh lete tou uder suzuki esteem ke naam se hei ye gari with specs thats all .. Cheers
