Tips for Baleno

I hope you are talking abt Baleno.

that interesting normally according to my knowledge an old car should nt reduce oil when you are using a semi synthetic or mineral oil rather than fully synthetic oil.

well if your car was not reducing oil but now after change of oil it is then.

1) that oil was fake.
2) your engine is not tuned to new oil & perhaps wont decrease oil after next oil change.
3) there is some serious problems in Engine.., rings, seals etc

Please guide me ! My baleno 99 got issue with petrol pump and due to certain circumstances i couldn't find its own petrol pump in that part of Pakistan, so the mechanic i got replaced the faulty one with honda city's petrol pump, initially it doesn't have any issue, but now i am feeling its not working properly in 5th gear above 90 km/hr, or on high revs, feeling jerks, the original one was chocked due to bad fuel so cleaned the fuel tank and replaced it,
now guide me for original petrol pump / kabli or Chinese whatever is best for it ! wats LPH of baleno's original petrol pump ??? price and location to get this part availability in RWP / Islamabad ! Also any other crucial maintenance which i must do before installing new petrol pump for trouble free drive.

did you try Suzuki 3S, they may arrange that spare, although at a high price??
i never had this problem but Kiani autos, other shops in Gawalmandi may help.
if its not availible there you may find it in Sultan ka khoo.
have no idea abt price.

3S are looters, i wana know the vendor name and details like LPS , so that i could buy from open market by looking @ different products.
sure will visit khoo or madina market for 2nd hand, but trying for a new one !

I have just purchased baleno 99 1300 cc, Pick was pathetic, however after changing air filter, broken cng venturi , and computerized tunning , every thing is OK. Now I have 2 Questions

1. I used to tune my mehran myself by completely shutting off air supply , can i do this with baleno

2. I changed transmission oil 2.4 L , my mechanic is insisting that it should be 3 liters

i dont know abt tuning but about oil even 3L is less i think the exact amount is 3.3 litre.

you are right the transmission oil shud be 2.4 litres

I don't know much about baleno , my guess is it was due to low oil level
may be there is a senser installed in Xmission box

salam guyz...i need help from u experts.
i have baleno 2004 model working excellent but the problem arise and this is very serious problem..
the problem is the car automatically turns off during driving sometimes...this hapeens thrice with me in 15 days and i dnt know what to do whats the problem...

gari bilkul ok fit chal rhi hoti ha lakin achanak bund ho jati ha aur pata tab chalta jab race data hu aur gari off hui hoti ha...lakin aik he sulf me phr start ho jati ha...lakin this is very embarassment when my car switched off during a trafiic jam:$.

so plz guyz help me whats the problem.....:S

on petrol yr...lakin kabhi kabhi hota hr waqt nai per prob nai pata ke kya ha

similar thing happened with me. My advancer was the culprit. disconnect the advancer and run your vehical for few days. if the car runs fine although with a lesser pick then buy youeself a new advancer.
