Tires/Rims prices

Hey ya'll.

bros ima get new tires/rims tomo..please someone tell me the prices of good 195 sized radials along with 14 inch rims..im noob when it comes to ries/rims so please help me out..im sure teh size 195 is good enough for a toyota platz 2004 aint it? please let me knw the prices of dirrernt brands ..

id say 185 is more than enough for 14". cause i have 195 on my 15" rims...

185 a better choice for platz tire wise dunlop or yokohama go for while rims whise u got loads of options in the market nowadays so it all depends on u :).

tyres Yokohama C-Drive 185/65 R 14 Around Rs.3000/-
Rims 14" around Rs.13000/- to 17000/- or more costly dpending on your choice

i read somehwr that yokos are soft tyres and usually wear out very quicky and are more prone to bursting..is it true ? are dunlops better than yokos? keeping in my mind im usually into hark braking and stuff..

dunlop definately have lesser grip

strange screeeching sound comes out of these tyres on sharp turns

Dunlop Lemans are better ones. 185/70 R13 (LM-701) costs around Rs.2500/= each. These are soft tyres having very Excellent road grip and no screeching sounds at all with good braking...

today i went to a tire shop near korangi n the guy was insisting me to buy "apolos" (sp?) instead of dunlops..he said apolos were softer and grippier..he said if i dont likw the tires he'd replace it with 4/5 days as well..the price difference b/w dunlop lemans and apolos was just 100 rs..( apolos 100 rs cheaper)...he said michelin was a good bargain too..something arnd 3400 per tire..wat do u guys suggest? tomo i have to install tires/rims at any cost in the afternoon..

please give me a final verdict keepign in my im going for 185/65/14 and im into rapid braking and all..please tell me the brand which will give me the best performance/comfort. I will opt for the ones u guys vote for the most!

i wud go with LM 701s. i have them in ma car for the last one year and they give me EXCELLENT grip on all surfaces and in all weather conditions.

well....instead of posting another forum, i wud like some info rite here. r these korean rims aval in market any gud? i have 99 XE with me but now i m buying a cultus as well. which tyres wud u ppl suggest in THAT (stock are general 155/80-13...pathetic ones which came initially with XE 99 as well) and also abt the korean wheels out there.

im not much aware of recent rim market
we bought one like 3 years ago

anyway
we have FM901 195/60/14 on corolla XE, rims used are original honda civic 14inchers.

and on CNG with AC, these tyres make the car struggle for speed, but excellent braking and cornering.

u can compare with that wt tyres size u wont

for cultus 175 should be good

im not sure my mentoined tyres are available in 175 size

Are you sure xe had 155/80r13 as stock or was it 165/80r13?
