To change or not to change BG Luxo tyre

Upgraded from 9th gen civic which has never used stock tyres due to grip issues. My daily commute involves using the motorway and i've noticed higher road noise on the civic X while on motorway with stock tyres as compared to my 9th gen civic which uses Michelin tyres.

I've read on the forum that BG Luxo has much better grip than older stock tyres but since i've only driven 250km till now and not really pushed the car as it hasn't completed 1000km yet i can't really tell if the grip is good or not.

Since upgrading to another tyre will cost me 50k or more even with sale of luxo at 4k each, I would like to know will it be a significant upgrade in terms of noise reduction and driving comfort. Or should i just keep using the BG luxo.

Yup u will have much lesser road noise and better road grip with michellin or Yokohama or continental tyres...,just keep the profile same

Definitely upgrade. Bg luxo will get so noisy after 15,20k that you'll get a headache every time you drive the car.

Change is definitely required. If you live in isb please visit japan tyres. 50k for 4 tyres even after chipping in new luxos are too much. 25 to 30k should be the difference.

Also no matter what stick to stock size. Do not listen to bashir or shabbir.

Continental cc5 is for 15k each and Primacy 4 is for 16.5k each so i don't think it can be only 25 to 30k. I'm in lahore.

I personally didn't change mine , the road noise do not bother me as much as to be honest they are not that bad of a tire .
I will get some Yokohama Advan Db's after 50k Km.. and this coming from a guy who used to change eurostar tires on corollas to Yokohama on the day of delivery, compared to Euro star I felt like the price to upgrade wasn't worth it.
Also you might void your suspension warranty, not completely sure contact your dealership for clearification

Get the tyres changed. In Civic X, the road noise is very much prominent with local tyres.

Road noise becomes an issue on motorway, i didn't notice it while in the city at lower speeds. I think i will be changing mine on monday since it really bothers me and i feel somehow civic X has more noise than my 4 year old 9th gen civic. You do not void any warranty if replacing with OEM tyre size.

Is it worth to change tyres to yokohama or i continue with bg luxoplus
