To swap 1KRFE 1000CC engine with 1300cc 2SZ-FE engine

To swap 1KRFE 1000CC engine with 1300cc 2SZ-FE engine , please tell is it mandatory to change gearbox ?

Is there any difference in transmission of IKR-FE and 2SZ-FE engines ?

i dont think so....only 4/4 has diff gearbox...2nz fe...

yes if you change the transmission then its good and if you want to continue on your own transmission then its also fine but remember if the transmission has low oil pressure then with new engine power and torque the transmission will fry some days after swap job.

I'm also looking to swap 1KRFE with something like 2SZ or 1NZ. I've been finding right threads but unable to find reliable. I really want 1NZ, please guide me where to purchase. What precautions do I have to take? What are the kabli prices of 2SZ and 1NZ.

I'm concerned if it needs alteration. I've heard people saying it is a "bolt to bolt" swap.

My car is on KSP.. and it is 2009 model.

NZ Series whether it is 1 or 2 it can be done easily mostly the 1 nz setup is hard to find for vitz with auto transmission and manual transmissions engine are every where. finding a good 1 nz with auto with EGR system is hard to find now a days if founded mostly are over driven 200 or 500K plus km's on them not a wise choice if going towards nz series.

go toward 2SZ-FE series along with Transmission too. and you will enjoy the ride.

Thanks Atta Bhai, your opinion always makes sense. One more thing, if you don't mind answering, where should I get it from? Is it bolt to bolt replacement? I'm talking about 2SZ-FE.. How much Kabli Engine + Transmission costs. And in how much do they adjust our engine and transmission.

Many people stopped using pw after the platform was migrated to discourse. I myself remained away for couple of years and then one day tried to use it again forcing it upon me and in few weeks got the hang of the new format.
