Token Tax on Honda Brv 2017

Aoa,

Guys I just wanted to inquire if anyone of the Pak wheeler has got token renewed for his Honda Brv 2017. I came to know from taxation office that the one year token tax for Honda Brv is around Rs 22,500/- for one year as it is a seven seater private vehicle, each seat is charged at Rs 2,500/- each plus you have to pay for the income tax etc.
Would appreciate if anyone can update me on this as early as possible.
Honda Brv token tax is more than Honda Civic X if this is the case.

I asked because in Punjab per seat it is Rs 2500 & in Islamabad it was showing Rs 96/Seat which is a huge difference, that's why I wanted to confirm.

Total amount to be paid for registration of brv in islamabad is as follows:-
Registration fee (2% of invoice) 2,345,000 x 0.02= 46,900
Advance tax (filer) =50,000
Token tax 96x7= 672
Total= 46900+50000+672= Rs 97,572/--

Is it the total amount or there is some thing additional also???

A car is registered as four (4) seater (excludes driver) and also commercial vehicles are registered without the count of driver & conductor. So BR-V should be registered as six (06) seater, thus excluding it from per seat tax.
Per seat Tax is for vehicles having MORE than six seats and BR-V has six.
Can some body address this issue.

Yes you have a point I missed the note that says that seating capacity excludes driver seat.

But does BRV not have 3 seats in middle 3 in back and 1 next to driver in front making it 7 seater excluding driver?

Seating arrangement in BRV is 2+3+2 and not 2+3+3. Total is 7 including driver.

In that case the seating capacity is 6 so the token tax should be only Rs 8,700 same as city

In Islamabad per seat tax is 96 rs

8,700 rs. Is not only money .its huge money .you can buy ice cream scoops for a year with that sort of money
