Token Tax Smart Card Islamabad Excise 2018

This year when i buy new car i was issued Smart Card. now paying token tax is very hard, i reached Excise Office Islamabad around 9:00 am, so that early bird may get it done quickly and since it was just 4th July, didn't expected any people in line but it was very crowded. and almost 50+ persons in a line and their were more then one line. in OLD Persons line it was also almost 50+ people. and i can't pay it in post office since its smart card, whats benefit of this, its created more load at excise office and problems for us.

we need to pay and also need to stand in long lines, smart card or no smart card u still get token payment receipt, so its not even updated in smart card. why can't we pay it online, why don't Islamabad administration facilitate. there was also no space for parking due to strange location of Islamabad Excise office.

i humbly request relevant authorities please facilitate people.

I agree its very tough getting into lines and smart card holders cannot even go to post office for paying tax Excise office should increase the number of locations ,( booths, offices, points) for entertaining smartcard holders

Brother i live in karachi belong t Punjab planning to get isloo number well it was surprise for me as token tax to be paid in excise office not in national bank like old cars i do with my corolla

actually if u have smart card then u need to go to eto office if u have book u can submit to relevant post office, but smart cards are new since last 1-2 years and paying token is very hard, very long lines

Went to ETO at 2:25 and had to wait in queue for 20 mins. It hardly takes 1-2 minute on 1 person.

There are 6 counters and 7th one is for ladies and senior citizen.

Hardly takes 30 to 50 mins

glad to hear you are lucky, i my self spend almost an-hour, but point is that smart card should be payable on local post offices or on line why not make system better, why go to eto office for token from all Islamabad locations

Totally Agreed! I paid my tax yesterday. I reached ETO, Islamabad around 10:35 a.m. There were long queues, specially queue No. 5 was extremely long. However, Token tax was being accepted at almost all counters. I selected another row, and by 11:20, I was free from Office.

Token Tax ETO mein hi nai, Post Offices mein b pay hona chaheye! But I think the other way, and say k ye nizaam hona hi nai chaheye!

One should never visit these offices in person! Post Offices mein hala'at intihai buray hotay hain and lot of time is wasted!

Meri samajah sey bahir hai k duniya aagay ja rai hai, and hum abhi takk puranay aur dakyanuusi chakkaro'on mein phansay huay hain.

Why isn't the system being made fully Automated?

We pay most of the bills through ATMs, Internet banking, Mobile Banking, etc. Can't these taxes be paid in the similar manner?

FBR in collaboration with many banks, has launched schemes of paying taxes online through Internet Banking. Can't this thing be started and facilitated in the same manner?

Recipt system and "Token tax paid up to" card p mentioned hi nai hona chaheye. One should pay all the tax through Internet, and it should already be linked to that vehicle. Jiss LEA k banday ko shakk ho ya usnay check karna ho, wo banda wo card machine mein dalay, aesi machine, jiss mein sari details aa jyein, aur wo wahan sey check kar ley!

But agar aesa ho jata hai, then agents / commission Mafia ka kya banay ga?

I have smart card where mention token tax paid up to 30-6-18 and Paying 1st time token tax for isb. Can U guide please how to pay my token tax for 2018-19 ?? And ETO isb provide new updated card r will provide something else for payment of tax ??

Just go to token counter with smart card only. They will check your filer / non filer status and demand token tax amount against that.

Give them the amount, they will give you printed receipt with signatures.

No changes in smart card, this year they are not giving sticker.

You need to keep the receipt safe and present in vehicle as it is the only proof you have that you paid the token tax for year 18-19

I paid 3,000 rs for 1328cc being a filer.

1339cc will also have same tax.

Did any one pay Honda city 1.5 (1497cc) token tax in Islamabad? How much amount has to be paid for filer?

Many people buy used car with Islamabad city number, while not living in Islamabad. They have to come to pay their annual taxes from other cities. Govt should make this system online so that people can be facilitated. What use is left for smart card if eto office visit is compulsory. I think this move to manufacture smart card was a corruption game. Possible corruption beneficiaries were, tender authorizing management(Chairman of Excise department), manufacturing companies and finally govt making compulsion to pay 1500 Rs for smart card.

I got registered my 650CC car in Islamabad but I was issued with a Smart Card instead of Registration Book. It is learnt that it is very difficult to pay Token Tax only at ETO office where one has to wait in long queues to pay. At ETO office, there is no respectable waiting place and there is no Parking for the people. Why only one point for smart cards. What is the fun to introduce Smart Card. Instead of facilitating the people things are made difficult.

It is suggested to please, immediately make some easy way out to pay taxes / tokens. It is matter of mass Public interest.
