Your car number has nothing to do with your tax paid.

If they want to make a fraud they can still do it.

These toll plazas are contracted on fixed monthly rents. No matter the usage.

Toll tax is charged to cross the toll plaza vehicle number doesnt matters in this case.

You cannot get it adjusted anywhere so this is a baseless video and a baseless fight.

And PS : Why was the guy showing a police card to go without toll tax.

Why has this guy mot installed the Mtag in the first place. People like him are the reason why there are 1 to 2km jams at interchange.

The Mtag/Etag system is not flawless and needs attention. Toll from shah maqsood to isb interchange was 120rs and the amount cut was 250rs. Most of the time the entry point is not registered so when you exit it says invalid entry point and they ask where have you come from, to which one can lie about the entry point to save toll. I recharged thousand rupees from there booth, when i entered isb the guy said you don't have balance, when i told him i have plenty, he said the system is not working and i had to manually do the transaction which defeats the whole point of having Mtag. Also when you exit, the screens are rarely working so you don't know how much they have charged or what's the remaining balance. To be honest i regret getting the Mtag. Can anyone confirm do they charge 10rs for entry as well ? Whenever i enter, they cut 10rs from my balance. You still have to wait in long ques especially when entering Lahore, even though it says non Mtag remain in left lane, all of them are still in Mtag lanes.

Never had extra charged on mtag and there is no entry fee. The issue is every idiot with card gets in mtag lane. Till the time such people are not charged heavy fines it's not going to get right.

Mtag also previously known as e tag. It's the small tag pasted on windshield.it is prepaid account. When ever the car enters the interchange mtag is sensed by the interchange and at the point of exit the toll fee is deducted from the account. One dosent have to get the card at entry and dosent have to hand over money and card at the exit. Although it is ment to make the crossing of interchange hassle free but every other idot with card goes in the mtag lane wastes time.

Why i am i getting 10rs deduction upon entry. Will see if it happens next time or if they overcharge again, gonna rip the Mtag and go back to the manual ways.

I noticed that twice when i entered shah maqsood interchange and then also when entering isb-lhr section. At those times the screens were working, so i noticed 10rs were being deducted from total balance. When the screens were not working i asked my brother as he gets messages from them. There was deduction from total balance upon entry. It happened when i went to lahore and back, amount was detected every time i entered. Will have to see if it happens or not on next visit.
