With the exception of maybe the GTO and the Mirada, none of these were actually muscle cars. Sporty compacts maybe but not muscle cars.
-The Delorean was an exotic-ish sports car with an all aluminium body.
-The Citation X-11 was a pepped up version of the bland Chevy Citation. It was a FWD econo car. The Citation X-11 btw handled supposedly well because of the suspension upgrades.
-The Gremlin again was a 3 door sub-compact. It was one of the cheapest cars to own at the time with very crappy build quality. Again, not a muscle car.
-The Monza was a sports car. It was conceived with the idea of a Rotary engine fitted to it, but that was scrapped due to the new emission standards introduced. It was not a muscle car, but a 2+2 coupe mostly. Was also sold in hatchback and station wagon body styles.
-The Mirada can be considered a muscle car, raced in the NASCAR series from 81-84, albeit unsusseccfully. It was slower than the competing Ford and GM cars because of inferior aerodynamics. It was pulled off from NASCAR in 1984-85.
-Plymouth Volare Road Runner wasn't an actual Road Runner. It was just a package for the Plymouth Volare. The OG Road runner was a brute muscle car.
-Mustangs were always Pony cars. In this case, the 2nd Gen was the weakest Mustang ever. It was actually built on a Ford pinto chassis. Google to see what a Ford Pinto was and you'll get the idea how bad these Mustangs were.
-The 74 GTO was considered a muscle car. An easily fogettable muscle car.
-The Trans Am was again a Pony car. Later 3rd gen Firebirds were pretty powerful though.</SPAN></SPAN>
