Top speed for CD 70 2006 MODEL?

salam to all of you.
guys i have achieved the speed of 80km\h on my 6 months
old 2006 model 70 bike
it is done after continuess running.
i think this is not a good speed
what is ur top speed at 2006 cd bike?

i got 2006. and my speed is Same 80 and thats the top speed of CD 70 Engine.. above that u have to push ur bike really hard like in 2nd and 3rd gear and i dont want to do it it goes up to 70 very quickly and easily thats enough for me..... keep on trying u might go up to 90.. btw as u use ur bike more like when u will complete 4000 or 5000 Km the bike's engine will be more smoth......

I used to have a 1992 model CD-70 back in 1996 and it used to do 90kms/hr tops. Maybe your does 80 as its a new bike and maybe the engine is still not fully opened up.

I have 2 CD-70's,one is 1986 model(point version) & other is 1991 model(point version).I have achieved 100km/hr max on my 1986's CD-70 while max speed of 110km/hr on my 1991 model,the basic difference in top speed & pic is due to the presence of point in non-cdi versions which gives direct fuel flow(this is what i know),btw 110km/hr par bike ke head mein se smoke aana shuru hogayi thi

Well when Honda 1st Introduced C70 in the market ( we are still using same c70 engine with just CDI added to it) the people were saying bcoz the bike have such a high revolution engine it wont be reliable but Honda proved em wrong the reason behind this was the c70 engine which is a small engine but very reliable and long lasting. it produces more power bcoz of this high revolutions..
Now if u consider this that a 70cc honda CD 70 gives u around 8 HP which isnt bad.. Most 100c bikes give around 9 BHP or 10 Max...

Its not for Racing so an avg speed of 60 to 65kmph u can easily do that on 70 which is a good enough speed considering a avg speed of cars in city is not more then 75....... with cd 70 abover 70kmph is tough for the small engine... this is where the cd loses its power even if u push the accelerator to full it will still go above that but very slowly.
Goin up to 70kmph no problem....

U want more power go for Sprinter/ Junoon/ Gs 125/ Or CG 125...

Yup that is correct the last CD 70 i had was 91 Model way back when i was in 10th class i remember when we friends use to ride that bike and the engine use to heat up nicely the pickup use to increase the more heated the engine the more pickup but with this new CDI as it gets more hot i feel it loses lil power

I had new 125 as well never liked the hard suspension of 125 and also a ride packed with vibration honestly speaking only bike i liked after riding all bikes in pakistan was Yamaha 2 stroke also liked kawasaki 110 :p... but 2 stroke we should avoide now...

here i want to hear something about Honda MB-100,a greattttt bike,best road grip ever of a bike in Pakistani market,also had an "Anti-Vibrator" sort of device in it which avoids vibration at high speeds.
That bike was just made flop my our local illiterate mechanics.

@vaqas1 As you said about older model CD-70's that their effiency increases as engine temperature increases,this fact better suits HONDA-70(not CD-70).

air-explorer bhai u reached 110kmph on a 70cc bike!!!!!
thats really surprising.....
and i thaught it ws difficult to reach that speed on a 150cc bike. well i have a 180cc bike and i have to push realy hard to keep my bike going at 120kmph.
ur story really puts me in doubt.....

I should say awful if you can't achieve speed over 100km/hr with a 150cc bike,you need some riding classes,on the other hand my engine's piston rings were totaled when I pushed it to 110km/hr having Bridgestone tyres with me at that time.

Hmmz Max i got from cd 70 was 95kmph that was also on a 91 Model 70cc....
Waisa i tried to run my 125 to max and it was also not goin above 100 hehe maybe bcoz it was just 800km driven at that time..

bhai jaan honda ka to pata nahi...lakin meri jo first bike thi jis per mainay riding seekhi thi..PAK HERO 70 2004...woh to easily 80 per jaati thi...so wats the fuss about ?

Air-explorer, i did a little bit of search on the net and have found that the maximum speed of a CD 70 as claimed by Honda officials is 85 kmph.Now what u need to do is , get ur bike checked by a mech., cauze uve got a serious speedo error 'dude'. and now as far as my bike is concerned (Bajaj Pulsar 180cc Dtsi) the top speed claimed by bajaj officials is 125 kmph, and ive taken my bike to about 121-122kmph(on the speedo). now if u think u can ride it faster than that, then u got to be a hell of a biker. And ya CD 70 can attain a speed higher than 110kmph......................................................................................................but only if it is dropped off a building.
