Mohtaram Ahmad Sahib,
I'm a bit busy today. I'll be back in a while. Please bear with me. This is a hurried note.
I will explain in detail and will seek feedback from you and Ferrari 10 Sahib if the concept has been understood by you guys or not. I always encourage discourse when it comes to Science. 'Science is nothing but trained and organised common sense' as outlined by this quote by T. H. Huxley. That is the beauty of science. 1+1 is always equal to 2. Mathematics is the key to science success. A student of science without a good grasp of mathematics is like a tennis player without a good backhand, a swimmer without a good kick or a basketball player without a good dribble.
The foremost thing lacking in education in Pakistan is lots of rote (learning by rote) and the poor kid not allowed to reason or engage in discourse with the teacher on the basic thing 'why'. We should encourage 'common sense' in learning and to teach a kid 'common sense' is to teach him the basics of Mathematics. I'm not implying you or anybody else as a kid but I'm just trying to highlight the shortcomings in our education system. Lots of rote learning and not letting the child think. Starting from kindergarten and right to Ph.D. level, all the education system works on rote which is very unfortunate. This is not only true for Pakistan but also for countries like USA but in Pakistan it is a much worse.
I'll be back. The concept is very easy and simple to understand.
Rattay say number tau aa jaatay hain magar science key samajh nahee atee. Saree dunya main imtahanee nizaam Rattay par chalta hay.
Regards.
