Yes that's the case for all oils sold in pk.
And when it comes to the reliability of 1kr then why you guys take so much risk.
Toyota is 5k in price and lasts upto 10k kms easily.

So don't destroy your precious 1kr motors.
Every time I rebuild a 1kr the story is almost same that of fake oil usage ....

Havoline new series has 5w30 with them but is not widely available only available on caltex lube shops.

A Friend of mine has a caltex lubes dealership from dubai he has it last time I visited him 2 months before.

Caltex authorized store unfortunately only has 5w40 and 0w20 in full synthetics. I visited last week in karachi

Just today poured Total Quartz 9000 5W-30 in my car, so far i have noticed the car has gotten a lot smoother. Will see in due course how it turns out. Everybody in the 'engine oil prices' thread suggested me to go for this oil, now you guys are saying Toyota one is better.

If you are from Isb than F6 total pump has 5w-30 quartz 9000 in drum and you can get 4.2 or any quantity you need.

I think makki oil store in lahore also has it. If not the pack then in the drums for sure and u may get it from them

The best I have used till now is Mobil 1. I was following 10k drain intervals without any issues. I switched to Total 5w30 coz Mobil prices are roof high now. Believe i'm not facing issue with it at all. Keep on using it. Just make sure that the oil you're getting is authentic. Nopes it's not better, toyota 5w30 is synthetic and it's not a fullysynthetic.

Take some old empty oil bottle and get oil in open from LATOWN Johar town total fuel station. It's right next to LDA office. Get 1 liter or 2 liter from them. They will pour it directly from big oil drum that is prefilled abroad.
I get oil from same place. 4.2L exact costed me 3000rs only. Poured directly from drum with a machine.

Total LATOWN johar town right next to LDA office fuel station is mantained by total parco itself. Not a typical theka system. Everything there is authentic except car wash.
