Tour De Heaven "Kumrat Valley" ! and Track to Jahaz Banda & Jahaz Dand (Katora) lake

Nice place and trip. I like the name Jahaz Banda any story about this name?

In Kohistani Language Banda means cattle's grazing spot ! there were so many Bandas there but Jaz banda was on top so may be thats why it's called as Jaz banda !

There is a helipad in the area. Thats why it got name of Jahaz Banda.

We have seen the letter "H" marked, for the Helipad.

Turning towards Jandrai from the main Dir-Thal road.... We had to cross the river and boy it was a scary crossing.... More of it on the return journey....

Start of trekking and Shahbaz looking very energetic and all covered up for the approaching rain.....

Could only take two more pictures before the rain hit us hard.... and we had to pack all our cameras into water proof covers and had to wait for 10-15 min. beneath the shade of trees....

After the rain stopped we crossed the water stream and got to the other side and crossed the other part of Jandrai village... It was a difficult path as we had to walk on slippery stones and mud.... But it was lush green and the rain had made it more beautiful....

After 90 minutes and traveling for about 3-4KM we reached the end of population of Jandrai village.... From this spot we again crossed the small spring and our guides/porters told us that we have traveled 1/3 of the track but the diffucult part is ahead of us....

Inshallah at some trip. Usually trips are not planned, not sure uptill last moment as a lot of factors involved like leaves etc.

Also we have already shared all our plan on Pakwheels in advance.

Porters never told actual time they will always tell you "Bs thora he reh gya hai" but on this track HEad porter Javed always told us actual time.
