As for as diesel is concern it is available at almost every part of northern area, if you are using patrol vehicle you must carry at least 20ltr of patrol for emergency use.
I kept 15ltr spare but didn't use it. On last refiling I used 15ltr on way back.
One thing to be keep in mind always fill your tank either diesel or patrol, whenever you are moving to next destination or roaming in remote area.
