Wonderful trip sir. Hats off to ur enthusiasm to complete this hectic trip in just 3 days.
My few queries
1- Can you draw some hand made sketch to show the relative locations of Sheringal, Thal, Jandrai, Lamuti and actual Kumrat valley etc. I searched a lot, but could not find any map to show all these places.

2- can we take car to sheringal from new or old alignment?

3- How about taking the family to Kumrat?

Thanks brother..... It was the DESIRE OF KUMRAT which kept us going all the way. If we calculate exactly.....
Total Time of Trip : 78 Hours
Total Travelling Time : 39 Hours... so 50% of the time we were travelling on wheels.
As for the Map of the Valley, I have attached an image.
Cars of all types can go till Thal from Dir via new approach road.
As for families, I have given my opinion in detail above Post#124.
And If you intend to go with family only till the Forest, then that is OK provided that your family is A TRUE NATURE LOVER.

We reached back at the university guest house by 11:15 , packed up our belongings and were ready to launch for Jendrai, where Raja Sb was waiting for us....
University Guest House care taker staff... very co operative and humble guys.

Our Pilot Sheikh Rizwan wished for a picture.... I took this one....

He saw the results and immediately rejected the picture saying that where are his feet in that. So, I took another one and this time he was happy and satisfied.

Approx how much time, it would take from Dir to Thal on own car?
Is the route till Thal also worth seeing?
What is the location of that beautiful forest? Is it after Thal?
