We friends are planning to go to chitral on eid holidays. Below are my few questions

we were planning to go by car(city 07model) , but someone told us that road is not good for cars after Dir. is it right?
any jeep service from Peshawar to Chitral? as we are planning to use daewoo till Peshawar then on jeep till Chitral.
Third option is go on Car till Dir , Park the car there and then go on Jeep till chitral?

what you think will be the best option for us.

Option number 3 is best.

Park your car in Abshar hotel in Dir and then hire Land cruiser from there.

Their room rate was 1000 only for a 5 bed room and of course our car was parked free. Next day was chilum joshi festival in Kalash so assume it was peak season.

So keeping this in mind, the parking rate would be like 200 per day only.

And for land cruiser, ask the hotel owner, Qari sahab to arrange you one.. he has some contacts. You will get it somewhere around 3k per day without fuel. And may be you get free parking also.

From Peshawar bus adda you can get 2.0 D Corollas for all the way to Chitral. So, if u r 3-4 persons then you can travel on car which takes much lesser time than jeep or any bus to Chitral.

We just a made tour of Chitral before Ramazan. We went on 2x Mehrans All the way from Lahore to Chitral. Btw weather is hot there.

Dear,

I am planning for chitral with two fellows, pls help to advise the best mode of tranport along with expected fares. Also pls help to advise if any public tranport also available and how much fare for each along with reaching time at Chitral.
