Tourist under attack by local people of Murree

In case of public transport, apko Isb say neelum valley direct gari nahi milay gi, pehlay aap Muzaffarabad jao. Wahan janay k liye aapko faizabad station say boht vans mil jaein gi. Mzd main aap k budget k mutabiq boht say hotels mil jaein ge. Muzaffarabad say neelum valley tak aapko van/bus mil jae gi, neelum valley main boht say guest houses hain. Wahan say aap jeep rent par le kar aagay ja saktay hain..... Many places like arang kel, kutton etc...... Rest you can see neelum valley threads where many members have beautifully explained their journey details along pictures.

Avoid muree and go to nathiagali as muree is too over crowded as well. For pure nature go to khanaspur ahead of ayubia.

Year back I was sitting at my place and thought to visit nathiagali and come back to my place it was was mere 40mins drive when I reached nathia i thought to move a bit more towards murree when I reached murree i stopped for a chea tokra and parked my car there were four to five local pallay standing one of them shouted oyee gari hata idar se I respectfully answered bs chea pe raha hn nikalta hn ..the 2nd one shouted tujay kaha ha gari hata .. i said acha bhai hatata hn suddenly 3 came towards me and said to ankien kisko nikal raha ha teri patloon utar kr tujay nanga wapis behjwa deingay hahahahaaha..I was like ya arr ya parr .. I usually carry hand gun with me no offence to anyone but since past many years I always carry it with me with proper license and yeah am allowed to carry as my job allows me to safeguard my self ehhh.. Taay phai I was furious when he used nanga word ..when they saw a handgun with me and when I Loaded it and fired whole round ..hawie fire .. Afra tafri shuro hugai those pallas were literally jumping around running for their lives .. Lesson which I learnt was kay yar janay do never mess with these kinda ppl jazbat mai I would have fired one of them but i got my family who's waiting for me .. Simply ignore these kind of ppl yeah if they do something very serious then kick their butts hard

well..when the local law (Murree law that is atm :P) is not there to safeguard the rights of people, then i believe we do have the right to protect ourselves with whatever means necessary :)..i myself am thinking of applying for a weapons license. Lets see how things go

Also, My family was supposed to invest on a property in the hilly areas near murree..but after such incidents..i would happily avoid it
Even for tours, I might suggest going a lil South (desert safari kinda trips) rather than murree everytime

Don't judge a community with one or two incidents. You will find good and bad peoples everywhere in the world. You will surely paid off for crossing the limits anywhere in the Northern Area of Pakistan.

Even if 10,000 such videos are shared nothing will happen. our Awam will continue to go to Murree. Friends no matter how much you may think that this act is wrong what you are missing is the people who are standing by and doing nothing. The guy in video is lucky that his family was not killed. Because even if they killed the entire family no one would have tried to stop them or arrest them afterwards. We live in a third world country where laws are worse than that of jungle. If you have a hard time accepting this fact then you will continue to face issues in Pakistan and ultimately become a patient of depression. here no one will come to your help, not the awam, not police, not army and not politicians. so if you have lots of money then hire lots of armed body guards and you will see how people will never mess with you. or if you are not a rich wadera then just accept the fact that you will face injustice around every corner and you cannot do anything about it as you are a 3rd class citizen of a 3rd world country. It is always good to stand up for your rights but dont expect any type of right from any fellow Pakistani. If you have money then take your rights by force but if you dont then dont try endanger life of your family. On Pakwheels there are many threads of annoying people using HID on high beams and blinding everyone. And everyone on these forums want to beat such people but the fact is that even if you beat such people they will be back on the roads next day with same HID high beams. The simple fact is that one day you will fed up and tired of beating people on the road but they will never learn. you cannot win against the people of our land. This incident happened in Murree but it can and has happened millions of times in all cities of Pakistan so why we expected something different from Murree??

I used to get angry and frustrated until one day I realised that I am only harming myself as people will never change. Now i just ignore and EXPECT my rights to be robbed. Atleast this way I am not driven mad by rage and I can keep my sanity. I accept that fact that I do not have a lot of money to get my rights so now i must learn to live being robbed of my rights each day. I cannot change the thinking, mentality, attitude, etiquettes or morals of our people so why even try and risk my life? Those who disagree will continue to get nothing but angry and frustrated each day. You are a Pakistani and you have no rights, PERIOD ! You want a normal life, then leave this country !

Exactly, you just simply defined Pakistan. This is exactly the definition of Pakistan.

jab baat agay barhi, the local dragged him into a jirgah of locals
bari mushkil say jan chorahi un say bacharay nay

i wonder what would have happend if he was at fault
