1st Tour in September 2017
I always had this wish of travelling to the north on motorbike since childhood when we used to spend our vacations in Khanaspur.
As soon as i get my hands on this lovely machine Alhamdulillah, that one could dream of. The Honda Goldwing GL1500, Let me tell you guys a bit about it. The features on this bike were way ahead of its time, features like, cruise control, reverse gear, electronically controlled air suspension, stereo system with 4 speakers and pure joy!
This bike was imported brand new by Allama Shahid sb from Lahore in 1991, it was later sold to Karachi and Jehanzeb bhai kept it with love and did some tours on it too, including Turkey tour.
So, the first thing that came into my mind was to take it to the mountains. After some maintenance checkup I planned a 6 day tour on it.
This was my first ever trip, very excited and fears too as it was about almost a 30 year old machine. But the 'jazba' took over all the fears
I started my tour and planned to go till khunjerab pass.
1st day- Clutch released at 4am, First stop at Mian ji hotel ofcourse
delicious daal and paratha with achar.
Second stop islamabad for a cup of tea, then towards Khanaspur cuz why not.

And then via abbottabad towards balakot.
2nd day, planned to reach gilgit from Balakot, but as i reached the first fueling station in raikot, next to a restaurant. Some riders on their way back from gilgit told that the bridge on the way to gilgit juat collapsed and my bike couldnt go offroad so with a heavy heart as my wish to see khunjerab pass was not fulfilled.. I didn't take the risk and headed back to naran and stayes the night there.
3rd day- headed off to saif ul malook parked my bike where i could take it and took a jeep onwards. Then headed back after spending some good time there. Went to shogran enjoyed the lovely sights and stayed the night there.
