^^ well a 2-3 old diesel 2.od corolla and a new one both will give almost same mileage , engine is same , body weight has increased ! well previous 06 model gave me around 12-13 , also noticed once the average of my new 2.OD but dont remember exactly but it was also around 13 as far as i remember ! INDUS ppl claim 16 but in city with AC thts simply impossible ! good old days ven the diesel was cheap , really at tht time 2.OD really entertained us , was really an excellent daily worker , but now we use our civic more than 2.OD ...lolx

i think new civic will give around max 8-9 km/ltr b/c the milege of 1.6 civic is also very bad
