Not sure yet, still working on it. Probably 6-9psi

Yes truly interesting, many people say it will blow up! and a few who have done it said their engine is still running fine..

2c doesn't do justice to the size of it. I always wanted to do this with a corolla, will be interesting to see your results

That's true! Toyota installed a 7k gas version but still feels underpowered, I say a 3C or 2L is should have been better?

Almost done, turbo not yet coupled with intake manifold, I still have to install an oil catch can for my breather and re-route the hoses into the turbo intake tube between the air filter.

But turbo is now oil-fed via self contained oil reservoir and electric oil pump producing 8psi of oil pressure and spools slightly even when the waste gate is left open for the meantime while not yet completed. Waste gate boost actuator will be installed today

3L would have done justice, it looks pretty heavy to me

Yeah a Inline 6 Cylinder 2jz would do a Justice to This Big Vehicle !!!

Why are you using an aftermarket air filter, why not the original

The OEM airfilter box is on the other side lol I have yet to make another tube for it to travel across the engine, anyway I have been using that airfilter insode the OEM airfilter box before the turbo since I got the vehicle.

I have finally completed the setup and got a reasonable coupler for the turbo to the intake pipe.

The difference was immediately noticeable and there was really more acceleration despite the no fuel enrichment.

So far there was no engine temperature increase during my testing and cruising this afternoon.

I will change oil this week with a better performing oil that can take more heat, I always use Caltex's DELO GOLD.

Let him try and share what happened in the end. How much boost he got and so forth.

Has always been... lol

1st week of daily driving and a few hard acceleration to feel the boost kick in and no unusual sound or changes noticed tot he engine.

Boost isn't very hard as there is no fuel enrichment and one big difference is the absence of the black smoke on acceleration

Congratulations! Now start fuel enrichment slowly and keep testing, just go half the screw turn on the pump each time.
I am going to follow you on this experiment on my 3B engine.

Yes I will be increasing at most 1/8th turn richer and I didn't want to see smoke before the boost

Hey a 3B! I bet it could use some turbo, go ahead you'll love the improvement even without fuel enrichment.

LPG? not yet but I am planning on Water/methanol injection or and intercooler...

Intercooler first probably, I was told there is a very noticeable improvement.
