Toyota 2E poor acceleration/power, need help

My car which was running like Ferrari six months back, now has lost its acceleration. I don't know why! Everything seems fine except I find engine oil in air cleaner box through crankcase hose (Before six months there was no oil in air cleaner box).

Some information might help to resolve the issue:

1. I find Engine oil in AirCleaner box from crankcase hose. (AirCleaner box was always clean before six months)
2. Engine oil is not overfilled.
3. I've already replaced PCV valve, clutch discs & pressure plates, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter but no luck.
4. Car still starts fine in both winter & summer seasons.
5. No black, blue or white smoke from exhaust.
6. Valve clearance is set on 0.20mm at intake & exhaust.
7. Distributor is set on fully retarded position. (I myself tried to advance it little bit, which helped somehow but after using on petrol, it caused some kind of detonation when I switch it off, engine doesn't stop, something hits the engine block with any tack hammer!! thats why I reverted back distributor's position)
8. No pinging, No hesitation, No rough idle.
9. I removed breather hose from AirCleaner box and took car for run but performance didn't improve.

Car looks and run fine but it has no acceleration as it had before, simply it has lost its charm which I want to bring back...

(Fun Part: I used to beat 3C's with this engine on highway but now I use to keep looking at Kha Chara cars like Mehran leaving me behind easily . Isn't this insulting, cars like mehran (Saabun Dani's) beats corolla )

1. a compression test is necessary to ascertain engine health
2. engine cooling system [ thermostat valve, coolant in system, cooling fans working on auto ]
3. distributor overhaul
4. tappet adjustment 0.20 at LOB UP position

how will the car accelerate if timing is set at full retard position ?bring the timing to the correct position
if the car keep running when switched off, re adjust the carby from some professional

Yes, its 2E sir .. I know its econo engine but it was indeed outstanding engine..
One thing I missed, yes its thermostat needle isn't working!

Could you please elaborate "Distributor Overhaul", can I do it at home ? & what should be compression reading for healthy 2E?

Exactly, retarded timing can't give me required performance but as mentioned before, I did advance it a little bit which improved acceleration, on CNG it was fine but on petrol "Dieseling" occurs and engine try to run on for a short period after being turned off! I read somewhere that it causes severe damage to engine thats why reverted back to its retarded position

Full service of carby is done already which resulted improved performance somehow but didn't get desired results !

I've noted your expert suggestion and soon will get carby checked by another professional.

Did you check if your anti-dieseling solenoid working? you can screw it off from the carb and check if it is working.

when car is USED on CNG fuel, the function of carb jets seize to function, the only adjustment possible idle speed through the single screw.

Other only 'ITEM' working to manage acceleration on CNG fuel is butterfly.

I strongly recommend distributor overhaul, correct routing of tubes for vacuum pods & tubes adjustment of pod bolts controlling throttle levers.

it is DIY if you have access to silicone lubricant, which you will need after cleaning out the distributor with de-greaser. @imkashifpk

Seems like your timing belt has been moved a teeth or two for cng. That is why distributor settings are out. If you retime it correctly, it might not run properly on cng. Also, does your car knock on sudden acceleration on petrol?

Thanks for your help. Yes bcz I've gone through several mechanics, they actually didn't bring any good improvement but rather they did their experiments in which distributor is included.

b. On CNG no any knocking/pinging. On petrol, it does a little bit pinging (soft tinkling) only when I put hard pedal otherwise No.

Sounds,excessive carbon has built up in combustion chamber due to improper burning of fuel mixture.

I believe your problems are more related to timing, however anti-dieseling solenoid is normally located at the back of the carb. Picture below. just unscrew it and turn ignition on and off to check if it is working.

Actually i had dieseling issue with my 2E and this solenoid was the culprit. However i wasn't facing any retarded performance.
