I am bit puzzle about nozzle pop pressure and injection timing ,,,,,, as per book there are 2 kind of 2L engines ,,,,,,, type A and type B ,,,,,,,,,which one to follow ,,,,,
as per type A I have to adjust pop pressure from 110-125kg/cm2
as per type B I have to adjust pop pressure from 160-168km/cm2
so which one to follow ,,,,,,, i have ND-DN4SDND133 nozzles installed ,,,,,and as per book it must be adjusted from 116-124kg/cm2 ,,,,,, kindly guide me about nozzle pop pressure and pump plunger lift at TDC ,,,,,,,,,

thats how nozzle pin must sink in its place when tilted at 60 degree ,,,,,,,

If you use high pop pressure you need to advance the pump too as the nozzle will act retarded timing itself when its too tight.

Is the spray good?

well i havent check that exactly,,,,,,i will update you about it tomorrow ,,,,,,,

2L without CSD plunger lift will be from 1.06-1.22 mm

and there are 2 descriptions for the nozzle pop pressure ,,,,,,,,,,first one pop at 105-136kg/cm2 and second one pop at 145-168kg/cm2

and as you know that there are 2 type of 2L engines,,,,,,, one which comes with rocker arms and have an aluminum valve cover (the older model) ,,,,,,,, and second comes in black color valve cover and it has a bucket type valve lobes (the newer one),,,,,,,,,

i think the older version of 2L has 105-125kg/cm2 and newer one has 145-168kg/cm2

The higher pressure are for the leanburn editions. Cant remember the spec but it had more emmissions equipment.

ok now i am fully sure that this older model of 2L which share similar head configuration as L (2200cc) comes with part number 23600-59015 and nozzle number is DH4SDND133 , having pop pressure 124-126km/cm2,,,,,,,,

i did check the leak and spray pattern last night ,,,,, unfortunately 2 of them fail the test ,,,,,,, remaining 2 pass the test and also the pop pressure is within specs , i,e 122 bar ,,,,,,,,2 nozzles need to replace ,,,,,,,,, and they sell in pair so i buy all 4 nozzles and replace them as a balanced set ,,,,,,,tonight will assemble the injectors with new nozzles and check the pop pressure once again ,,,,,,and then came to know the new shim needed ,,,,,,,
