Toyota 5L-E max speed in hilux 2008

Hi guys
I have a toyota hilux south African version with 5L-E engine. Now the problem is that it wont go beyond 120kmph on motorway. It is extremely noisy too. My rig is equipped with 9/41 differential. Engine is recently overhauled. Anybody else facing similar issue? any help in this regard is highly welcomed.
