Asalam o Alaikum BrosI bought Altis 1.8 Auto 2009, i cleaned catalytic converter, did tunning but car pick is not good, some one installed toyota aqua injectors in it, please guide me wether the injector alone is the culprit?
very obvious issue is mismatching injectors. auqa has an 1500 cc engine with different ecu. The fuel injecting & ignition pattern is entirely different. You have 1800 engine and it requires oem injectors to match with PKDM ECU mapping.
it will be good if you buy new OEM injectors and install. Kindly do make sure you also clean the fuel filter in the fuel pump inside the fuel tank which is located under neath the rear seat.
