I have the Altis 1.6 model 2017.
My office guy took it to some local workshop for oil change etc yesterday. The guy did something obvious wrong and did a master reset on the console. When I got it back, the console would not go past the initialization screen; the one with Toyota logo and bar at the moment with the "Loading..." text.
He said that the workshop guy to press the reset button on the top right. Doing that a couple of times, I got past the loading screen, but the touch didn't work. A few more times and touch started working. All the settings were gone, including bluetooth pairing, contacts, radio station presets. I did those again.
However, when I press the navigation button, or select navigation from the menu, nothing happens at all. If radio or phone screen is currently showing, that screen remains as is.
According to my office guy, the workshop person says that doing a master reset is normal part of service. That is obviously an unbelievable thing.
So, how do I get the navigation to work again? Does anyone know what can cause a master reset? Disconnecting the battery or something similar?
