Am currently using 86 Carolla I don't have issues with transmission but the resale value and fuel consumption

Brother let me tell you, Manual isn't that bad. You didn't select a great car I would say. Should have selected an Elantra or maybe a civic or Changan alsvin. Cvt is a very smart system and there isn't much of a fuel average difference. Don't be sad or discouraged, it is a great car and don't worry about the fuel average.
