Hi everyone,
I have a 2013 Toyota Hybrid, and I'm having trouble with the airbag warning light staying on. I scanned the car using a diagnostic tool and got the error code B1801, which points to the clock spring under the steering wheel.
Here’s what has been done so far:
The clock spring has been replaced.
The wiring is checked and it is ok, according to the technician.
The technician also tried bypassing the clock spring, but the error didn’t clear.
He suspects the issue might be with the SRS card (located under the AC console). He also tried replacing that, but the airbag light is still on and the B1801 error remains.
Has anyone experienced this kind of issue before? Could there be another component that needs checking? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
