Toyota Aqua Battery Issue

I hope you are doing well.
I have recently moved to Lahore from Islamabad.
I have Aqua 2014 which I purchased an year ago. About three months ago, both check engine (orange) and car with exclamation point (orange) indicators lit up on dashboard.
I got it checked from Rawalpindi and Lahore (got scared) and they said hybrid battery is weak (after using Car Computer Diagnostic Equipment).
I would request if someone can help me with this issue.
The car mileage is 89,000.

check for primary 12 V battery in rear hatch, am sure that battery need replacement. replace with same voltage / rating battery any brand

without allowing any loser doing any non-sense 1st change that 12 V battery. drive around, n then reset the ECU by removing battery negative from battery terminal for 10 minutes.

reconnect the negative terminal and see if CEL ( check engine ) lit up again.

Dear Sir

I have got it checked today and the current 12V battery is working perfectly fine. They ran the diagnostic equipment tests again and it turns out to be 'Diagnostic Code: P0A8 - Replace Hybrid Battery Pack'. Can you now kindly recommend someone please.

After reseting if problem stays then it's not ECU. Battery is stock or changed before?

how did & who tested the 12 Volt battery ?

there are times the error code P0A8 is stored in ECU when vehicle switch between battery & ICE randomly then car starts to consume more fuel and drive heavy.

how old is the 12 Volt battery in terms of months and or kilometer.

I am facing the same problem. Aqua 2013, Stock 12V battery. Driven 132000 Km. Never changed Primary 12V battery....

Check the Hybrid battery temperature sensors, hybrid battery cooling system. Sometimes the fan gets dirty, might as well be a few week blocks of cells, might be corrodes corroded connections. What's the mileage on ODO?

Thanks for the feedback. The fan was dirty and cleaned properly. Battery connectors were cleaned. Mileage is around 133,000 KMs. After resetting the errors they reappear after couple of days.

Would changing primary 12V battery help? It is stock battery which came with the car in 2017...

The battery Temperature sensors are underneath the battery cover on top, basically on top of battery, covered by the cover. You'll have to open the hybrid battery assembly and see if temperature sensor is dirty/fried.

Not sure if the n=battery was changes when I received the car though.

Got it regularly checked with the battery wallaa. According to them the battery is OK with the load. In any case, will change the battery....
