Toyota aqua EV mode not turning ON

AOA. Dear PW members, i need ur help regarding Toyota aqua 2014 recently imported. The prblm which im facing is that im unable to turn on the EV mode, still the EV works normal while im driving on ECO mode as it appears in green sign on the screen but when i try to turn it on by pressing the EV button it doesnt work. I have tried several times with all the lights and AC turned off, also while my car being parked and also early morning but when i press it creats a beep sound and remains turned off. Thanks

For ev mode battery needs to be sufficiently charge like more than three bars.... see if it than works.... beep sign only comes when your battery is not sufficient for your car to be converted to ev mode...

Actually im confused with the Ev sign, one that appears in the eco diagram in green color and the other that appears in the mode sign areas like where eco sign appears. It do appear with the diagram in green color but never turn on in the mode sign area.

Bro i have aqua as well and my sign is never green... which version do u have? My ev colour is same as rest of colour scheme.... maybe some other persons can shed light on this...

I have the S version and im talking abt that ev badge which appear in the diagram having green colour.

Yes i habe never came across green mine always stay like other colour scheme i.e whitish green... not like one as you having.... are u encountering any problem while driving on eco mode?

Im having aqua S 2014 freshly imported & im also facing the same problem when i press ev button it sounds beep but it doesn't appear on screen like echo.I think the battery is weak & not working properly.only once i noticed Ev sigh (lighten/On) on lower border of screen when i pressed ev button.br0 what is your conclusion have u found any anwer/result of the situation,if yes then kindly guide me as well thanks

Its engine check light. The Death warning. Get yourself OBD2 scanner from daraz (800 rs) and install any hybrid app. Get it scanned yourself first. It will diagnose the error. Google the error and you ll get the idea of the problem. Than reset the DNS error code via app. Restart the car. It will get back to normal. If the check light appears again, than get it checked with decent mechanic. Every mechanic will sell you different crap. You have to follow your guts.

Same problem in my Aqua 2013 S 4 grade, but my mechanic found the error and he solved EV problem just 15 mints, i really thankful to this guy, the problem was in batteries cooling fan, the cooling fan choked by dust, you can easily clean the fan by your self, no need to go any electrician or any mechanics, 90% of mechanics is suggest you to change the batteries or cells.
Check your back seats, here you can find the cooling fan, you can easily open by 4 secures and clean it, and install again, your car will be working fine in EV mode.

I am having a problem fixing a car type, Toyota Aqua with year manufacture 2014.

there is a primary 12 volt 45 ah battery under rear deck. When was the last time it was checked.
You may need to replace it now.

Assalam u Alaikum.Hope you are fine.Just went through your post regarding ev mode on aqua.
Just bought Aqua K Package 2013 model..

if battery is charged then ev mode sign will appear near eco mode sign according to your post.

If battery is full charged & still ev mode sign don't appear then what to do ??

If is ok to change mode to Eco or ev while driving the car or changed the mode when car is idle ??

What you suggest ??
