What are the differences b/w aqua different models I.e. 2013, 14, 15. From differences I mean all the differences; exterior, interior, mechanical, electrical/electronics, design, etc etc.
How would one know the condition of batteries. Is there any way to check them???
One thing more. I haven't seen any label/mark on these cars of their varients, like g,s,l,GS. His would a person recognise different varients?
If I am missing something kindly mention them here.

primary 12 volt battery is at right side under rear side kick panel, it shall be changed every 18 months.
the hybrid battery bank is under rear seat and have clear marking of dates just like seat belts in a car, rest of the stuff aqua user

How could one make sure about the health of battery bank?

only Toyota Techstream can access in-depth data for hybrid main bank and give individual cell health. NON-OEM scanners can only diagnose " poor bad good excellent "

Aqua hybrid has generations .. consult wikipedia for the exact models .. i guess the latest is fourth generation .. the higher the generation the bettr the economy and lesser the bugs

apart from that there is cosmetic difference the rear lights of 13 and 14 model r slightly different .. the front shape changed in 15 (someone to verify exact years)

s is base model .. G has brown interior, alloys and may be a few things more
S Led is bit higher in price .. versions r written in auction sheet
no mechanical or electrical difference in versions of same year only difference is in accessories and cosmetic

Current Aqua was launched in 2012, Facelifted in late 2014 commonly known as 2015 model.

Basic car is L grade with key start and 14" wheels caps and rims
S is secondary option with optional Push Start
G has all goodies leather interior
X urban top of the line, body kit etc

12 volt primary battery in every HYBRID vehicle need to be replaced every 12 months ( 18 months tops ) to avoid any malfunction

prius and aqua have an auxiliary battery self test procedure .. in most cars the menu is accessible through head unit .. if the battery is good no replacement required .. my aqua 2012 had a dry battery, with manufacturing date of 2012, when i purchased car in 2017 .. battery test menu was not available as head unit was replaced .. so got it checked at battery shop .. it was ok .. still changed .. as much as i read, a dead battery will not cause any damage but weak battery may reduce amperes and cause malfunction ...

just a totka ... keep a track of how early hybrid battery charges .. good fuel average also indicates good battery .. usual battery behavior is to work between 2 bars and 6 or 7 bars

Well.... If someone installs a pushstart in L would it make it S or if someone would install multimedia starring, fog lights etc in S; would it make it G variant? There must be a clear identification segregating different variant/versions.

300,000 km is for HV Hybrid battery bank

18 months is for 12 v primary battery

AoA! Just bought 2015 Toyota Aqua S-Pack with Push Start, Allhamdoulillah. The car came with the original GS Yuasa MF Toyota Battery. Although it is running perfectly fine right now, but I sometimes feel the dome lights turn on a little dim when the car is not turned on. So I am wondering if I should just replace the 12 V battery before it dies on me on road side and I have to jump start it.
If I decide to replace the 12V battery, then what are the best alternate options available in Pakistan? since I am sure that I won't be able to source the original GS battery here.
Also, the original battery has a vent hole on its side and a vent tube attaches to it, do any of the available after market MF batteries have this type of venting system?
Also, what is the best procedure for replacing the 12V battery? Should I keep the car turned on while removing the battery to prevent the ECU from resetting?
Any advice or suggestion will be much appreciated.

replace with same amp hour maintenance free battery. you need nothing to do but unbolt the terminals and replace battery. ECU get feed from Hybrid Inverter when primary battery is dead ( or removed ) no special procedure required 2015 - 2019 almost 4 years its time to replace it.

also look for procedure to clean the hybrid battery cooler fan located under rear seat size of server cooling fan with a small ducting.

What about the vent pipe , there is no vent hole in local 12v batteries ,
