oh damn ... dats 1 hot toyota

only thing i dont like is its a front wheel car , so with 200 kw it would have some massive wheelspin , then again that auto tranny would maybe help

It will have wheel spin but then Traction control will kick in so we can assume very little wheel spin.

The Aurion looks like an expanded Toyota Camry. Seems that the Australians widened, lengthened the new Camry and added new front and rear lights and grill. The car has the generic look of the current generation Toyota's.

I only wish that Toyota would start making more rear wheel drive cars. I also wish that these cars were also affordably priced.

I know it is a Camry, the only problem is that it still looks like too much of a Camry.

The new Camry is a beautiful car, but, I wish Toyota would start being more innovative and actually start to make more new designs, changes etc.. to differentiate their cars a little bit more.

VE's market is already in trouble with camry's succcess and release note from ford about their falcon's face lift.
aurion is gonna destroy the market for holden and ford for sure bro.

@Mianz,

yeah Ford is already droping down production, and VE will really struggle against it. because lower end models of new VE got 4 speed old tranny.

For those who dont know

Aurion is build on Camry platform with a little bit resemblance but thats about it. New Camry is 4 cyl , 2400 cc and only producing 117 KW of power (VVTI)

where Aurion is V6, 3500cc and 200 KW(Dual VVTI)

seems to me that the toyota IMV project has had a hand in this as well. still i think that there was too much effort wasted in a car which is essentially a camry....

they have been selling it here for the past month now or more in the Mideast and that too is made in Australia. Saw it with my own eyes.
