VE's market is already in trouble with camry's succcess and release note from ford about their falcon's face lift.
aurion is gonna destroy the market for holden and ford for sure bro.

saw this on Melbourne Motor Show for the first time, it was great.

yeah Ford is already droping down production, and VE will really struggle against it. because lower end models of new VE got 4 speed old tranny.

For those who dont know

Aurion is build on Camry platform with a little bit resemblance but thats about it. New Camry is 4 cyl , 2400 cc and only producing 117 KW of power (VVTI)

where Aurion is V6, 3500cc and 200 KW(Dual VVTI)

I agree with jaan99, this car looks much like the new civic. the curves are almost the same especially the fenders. and thats teh reason why I like it

seems to me that the toyota IMV project has had a hand in this as well. still i think that there was too much effort wasted in a car which is essentially a camry....

this car has just been released last week for the first time in the world by Toyota Australia in colaboration with Toyota Japan.

Toyota has a lot of its manufacturing divisions all over the world, just like Indus is one of them here in Pakistan. So that is the reason of them being imported from Australia to UAE. I think it is cheaper there.

new camry is only available in 4 cylinders in AUS and mideast and this car has to replace the v6 camry.

This car is set to replace the Toyota Avalon in Australia and it was designed with the help of an Australian engineer who also happened to have a part in the design of the Ford Falcon, therefore slight resemblance there too. 200Kw @ front wheels is going to be the only issue the Aurion has in comparison to the others as it'll torquesteer like a pig. Other than that a TRD version of the Aurion will be coming with a V6 Supercharged engine and there are hints it might be AWD. The camry here looks different, see
toyota.com.au for that. Honda might enjoy a better image thatn Toyota back in Pakistan, but here Toyotas rule. From the stock cars to the modified ones. The Ae92 hatch being by far the best corolla to be modded up from supercharged , turbocharged or na applications.

This Aurion is definately going to set the benchmark. Will be interesting to see when one reaches Paki-Land, shouldn't be too long.
