Toyota Axio engine swap into 82 Corolla

Hi gentlemen.
I'm here with an issue. I want to swap Axio Engine into 82 Corolla just need some suggestions whether it'll go rear wheel into 82 or front wheel.

This will be a very ambitious project no doubt
You are trying to swap a very modern engine in an 80's car
Back then mostly everything was mechanical and the 1NZ-FE engine has plenty of supporting electronics

rear wheel swap krun ya front wheel?

you have a rear wheel drive car how can you do front wheel swap?
these new engines came in fwd layout so does the transmission even if they are 4wheel drive. if you want to swap such an engine like 1nzfe or 1zrfe etc you need to mate it to an older transmission and match the ratio of differential to wheel.
overall not an easy thing to do. you should go for 7k-e.

Bro Actually i want some modern touch in an old beast to make it a real ANGEL. I love that 1NZFE. Thats why i want it in my 82 rolla.

You have to do some homework that which tranny you can use in this swap. Or make an adapter to fit an old transmission with 1nzfe housing. You can swap it. Keeping it RWD.
