'Oh thee paint job' Yes sir! I just bought my Honda City and while I was cleaning my car with a microfiber, the whole paint and finish came out while on the other hand, the Axio was getting rubbed with sandpaper and it was still shining like a star!

Seriously? A car is a car, you can't really compare build quality and paint jobs much when it comes to JDM vs PKDM. Even with a better build quality and paint job, you can't ignore the fact that the JDM was used for more than just a few years and God knows how! With the fake auction sheets and shitty dealers, you are much better off with a new car. You can keep your car in good shape regardless of the build quality and paint job if you know how to.

Do you even know what I referred to by "thee plastic"? Its an established fact that interior quality of JDM's is better than PKDM's.

Now coming to the lame argument in every JDM thread that auction sheets are faked, meter reversed. Oh bhai apni aqal istamal kro thori, info of the cars are available online and one can verify if he digs a little. Now the guy who wants to just go and buy a car then JDM's are not for him. Auction sheets fake and meter reversed argument holds some significance but not enough to discourage one to blacklist JDM's.

If one praises JDM's, all hell breaks loose cause the other guy has a PKDM and vice versa.

TLDR: local cars are good, jdm's are just better.

why arguing ? both have positive / negative things
like in same price can get zero meter brand new city which will run trouble free for next 5 years
good re-sale value
peace of mind being zero meter car

but

if u go for luxury ride with very good built quality , safety measures than local cars cant meet jdm cars
as @strikerx stated if one can get good jdm with authentic millage than no comparison with pkdm cars

pkdm honda paint quality worst, thick and rich orange peel , pkdm toyota paint much better quality while jdm vitz very good ( info based on my personal 3 cars )

as poster concerns are re-sale value, reliability than i think brand new city suits his requirements

we all pakistani , brothers , educated, dont u think on such pity issues we should not loose our self controls / patiences ?

I own a toyota axio & a few days ago a Shehzore ran into the front door n panel head first. I can assure you that he walked away with a lotta damage, I just got a bent door & panel. All JDM's have heavy metal or whatever. Alotta safety & less damage if you God Forbid get in an accident. Axio for me.

It's an investment of around 2 millions. You are surely not getting the best car if you're buying a PKDM but at least you know that you're future proof for at least 5 years.

There is not just comfort and build when you're buying a car, you've to make sure the engine, air conditioner, suspension, resale, availability of spare parts, i.e everything is in shape and would keep on working for the upcoming years. To make that sure, my honest opinion would remain the same, go for a new car.

Rest you can buy an Axio which is made of platinum as their owners are suggesting.
