Budget is max 20 so 2009-2010 city is not an option.
Corolla 2.0 D is a diesel and that is a total different thing as most of the people are used to own petrol cars and maintenance of diesel cars is totally different. Also that generation of corolla has bad brakes and high center of gravity, generally low roadgrip.

2.0D saloon has abs, so the brakes work fine, used it quite a bit, no issues, and i drove significantly rash
Its a very good car but i also have to consider resale and availibility of a good diesel mechanic in the local area.
